Sinclair then laid out a list of demands for Kimmel to meet before they will lift the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on its ABC stations.

quote:

The first is for there to be "formal discussions" held with ABC "regarding the network's commitment to professionalism and accountability."

It also asked for Kimmel to "issue a direct apology to the Kirk family" and for him to make a "meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA," Kirk's nonprofit that advocates for conservative politics on high school, college and university campuses.

quote:

Sinclair ended the press release noting that "regardless of ABC's plans for the future of the program," it won't return Jimmy Kimmel Live! to air until it is "confident that appropriate steps have been taken to uphold the standards expected of a national broadcast platform."

I don’t see him doing any of that. In his mind he wants to be a “martyr” for the leftist cause. The Left now looks at him as a hero even more than he already was. He will end up going to Netflix or some other forum.

SInclair or FCC asked him to apologize. It was reported yesterday he said no.

Sinclair ain't playing.

Kimmel feels righteous- and all of his homies are pumping his ego on this, I doubt any of those demands would he be willing to meet.

Jimmy is just going to turn private. He would lose whatever small audience he has if he follows any demands.

but muh censorship by Trump!

The lapdog FCC did this without even sending a written letter complaint... as Schiff said, the evidence is in plain sight.

2 weeks from now, no one will care he's gone. These virtue signaling twinks drop things faster than a blind juggler

I hope Joe Rogan has the intellect to see this is not censoring.

Not booted, just not renewed.

I believe his last show is in March or May of next year.

He should be forced to jump on a trampoline wearing his blackface Karl Malone uniform to the song "a-hole" by Dennis Leary.

Once Sinclair sees the numbers presented by their "Charlie Kirk Special" that they air tonight, I do believe Sinclair pulls any and all offers from the "Kimmel" types.

People want reality. They do not want liberal madness.

Well there's your answer on why he was canned. So much back and forth because people want to blame someone and beat around the above bush.

But. They don’t want him back. This gets them out of paying his contract.

Why the hell does Colbert not think Sinclair and Nextar won't preempt his show now? He literally played the clip that got Kimmel removed and said there was nothing wrong with it.

He repeated it, endorsed it and doubled down on it.

(I actually think he is trying to get his show cancelled)

I dont think they will bring him back. His show had low viewership and was losing millions.

They used his stupid comments as a reason to fire him.
