Silence from the UN, Europe and Iran Deal supporters about the Iran Protests is deafening

Just look at what Iran Deal did to democrats, liberals, the media and Europe/UN.They've become so invested in Iran regime's survival - because the regime is guarantor of the deal and they can't even offer full-throated support to protesters demanding freedom and facing down govt thugs when those thugs are the same people they made the deal with.
Compare how quick the UN was to condemn the United States for recognizing Israel's capital to their silence as Iranians take to the streets to fight back against their oppressive government that brutalizes them and threatens the rest of the world.

I've never really understood Obama's motivation for the Iran deal. I mean, I don't know see how his policy would ever result in Iran being some kind of partner or responsible actor in the region. There doesn't seem to be anything in history to support that possibility.

Obama just had a boner for Iran (and a dislike for Israel)

Obama ignored the protests in 2009 as well and that was before the Iran deal, just shows who he supported from the start of his term.

Honestly I believe it is because the man hates the USA and is Muslim and a muslim apologist. All it does is ensure Iranian opprssive policies to gain a larger foorprint in tue region. Its revisionist history for anyone to assume Iran is or can be an asset to western society and culture.

Oh it was definitely hatred for Israel that was the biggest driver behind it. Obama's not stupid at all as he knew that his "deal" had zero teeth at all and Iran was going to get nukes and as long that pissed Israel off, it was fine.
Speaking of Israel, Obama did everything he could to unseat Bibi and even sent his own team there to help his opponent. And then he had the nerve to accuse Trump of collusion.
