EWE was not found guilty before the 1991 election despite having 2 trials on alleged corruption back in the 1980’s.
He was found guilty in 2000 for crimes that were committed in his 1992-1996 term for getting kickbacks on riverboat gaming licenses. He served his sentence and once he was released he did try to run for Congress in 2014 for the 6th district against Graves. He came in 1st in the primary with 30 percent of the vote, but he would lose to Graves in the runoff 62-38. State rules would prohibit him from running for a state office, but federal rules do not preclude him for running for a federal office. Ironically, even though he ran in 2014 race, he couldn’t vote as his voting rights were not restored yet.

Loudoun and Fairfax Counties have lost their battle to the infestation and metastasizing cancer of disgusting liberal prog filth.
I'm up here in Centreville until the 20th staying with/visiting my son and he is beyond disgusted by the liberal filth. He's only 28, and is ready to buy his first house, but he's going to buy down near Spotsylvania because real Americans still live there.
