That's the point. Marijuana didnt make him do this being psychotic did. Marijuana doesn't make you blackout and do things that ends up in the death of people. Can't say the same for alcohol.

You just did. This happened. Now you’ve heard about it.
Additionally, Gabby Giffords shooter, the Marjorie Stoneman shooter, the Aurora movie shooter, the Pulse nightclub shooter, and the First Baptist shooter in Sutherland Springs were all marijuana users.
And contrary to the narrative of pot smokers being cool, mellow people, high dosage users can get the opposite effect.

“People who have taken large doses of the drug may experience an acute psychosis, which includes hallucinations, delusions, and a loss of the sense of personal identity,” the National Institutes of Health notes.

Does the old weed from, say, the 1990s still exist? Or is it all much stronger? I haven't touched it since probably the early 90s.

Damn I was just about to light a joint. I guess I won’t now :/

Oof.
Marijuana can and does contribute to psychosis.

The belief that weed is harmless, especially in the era of proliferation of legal weed, is very ignorant and harmful.

It’s all fun and games until you’re scromiting in the ER.

Weed 50+ years is no where near today's weed. Hemp and weed are not the same, either. If our Founding Fathers saw no issues with smoking weed it would have been a normal thing since then, so never got out of the gate to reach Prohibition.
Not sure why weedsters thinks that just saying " well alcohol is worse" is an intellectual argument. They are both bad, different, and should be handled differently. I've said that in a prior post, so stop deflecting. Focus on weed, instead of trying to hide behind another non related issue.

Ehhh. Millions of Americans use marijuana though. I’m not sure this is a fair cause and effect statement. These people were also all mentally ill and gobbling up anti-depressants and psychotropics too.

It may add a little bit to that side, but the mass of weight is still strongly on this starting long before the trans stuff was even a thing with him.
We have like 2 tons on the "psychosis from before trans" on one side and now like 10 lbs on the "the trans stuff caused this" side.

A hoax or urban legend states that the United States Constitution was originally written on hemp paper. According to National Constitution Center, this is not true, as the document was written on parchment.[1]
No it wasn’t, LOL

This would be like partying on old OK 3.2 beer.

I was speaking more specifically about the long-term psychological impact.
As a person who's smoked a lot of weed (and the first time we made brownies made them way too strong and ate way too many of them and became catatonic for almost a day), I can't go as far as the ER stuff

Medical Marijuana is both. You can get it where it is too strong but it still doesn't make people I've been around psychotic. They get anxious but then they eat and fall asleep. They should really cap the strength of it to around 20 to 30 percent thc. They have it in that range though. You can abuse either one just marijuana doesn't make you blackout and not remember what you did.

Of course.
But if pot is really mellowing people out, then it should’ve helped these cats.
It was also a specific contradiction to “I’ve never heard of no pot smokers shooting up places.”

I think it’s certainly not going to have that effect on heavily medicated, psychotic people.
