Show us ALL your taxes!!! The new talking point by the MSM

Shepurd "I fake cry better than anyone" Smith has been pushing this narrative now for the past hour. He has had on multiple guests who all are parroting this same obnoxious talking point. Here's the summation:
- why can't we see ALL of your tax returns?
- what are you hiding?
- this return shows he claimed stuff that can be deducted on future returns, thus he would ultimately not pay those taxes he paid in 2K5
- Trump wants to abolish this particular part of tax code which will benefit only the rich who will get richer!!!!
This dude has become insufferable. I'm fine with the pundits at night running talk shows and being biased; however, Shepurd pretends to be a journalist, so his bias is completely disingenuous to the public. They need to ship this shill off to MSNBC and bring in a neutral anchor for this time slot.

Well... It actually is pretty logical. One tax return from 12 years ago is not what folks have been clamoring for.

I thought it was a thing for presidents to show their tax returns. Why blame the media for questioning this? And why do you love Trumps jock so much? I swear, there could be pics of him touching little boys and the asshats on this board would find a way to side with him.

Originally I thought Trump should have released his tax returns, but now I think "frick these retards" but it's quite clear that no matter what Trump does these morons won't ever be satisfied
Trump " I just cured cancer, here's the cure for the world to have for free"
Trump haters " You sorry son of a bitch, do you know how many cancer doctors you just put out of work"
morons

Then why did Rachel Maddow act like it was?

Trump filed a 50+ page financial form just to qualify to run on the election ticket. It's public record and is much more detailed than any IRS forms used by the masses.

I've never understood the line of thinking that it is somehow noble to pay extra taxes.

quote:exactly. It's like liberals haven't the foggiest fricking idea how to negotiate. So they want something. Okay in a normal negotiation if I'm on the other side of the table I listen to what you want and consider what I'm willing to give and work from there. But I do that only if there are options available to me that have positive outcomes other than my initial stance. But if I know that no matter what I do it's going to turn to shite then I'm going to stand Pat with what I want to do. That's just fricking negotiations 101.

Everyone alive knows that absolutely zero liberals will be positively affected buy Trump release his tax returns. Independent voters don't give a frick about his return and neither do conservatives. What candidate in his right mind does anything different than what Trump is doing right now on this subject.
If it wasn't flagrantly obvious that the mainstream Networks are guaranteed to demagogue the returns there might be some positive to Trump for releasing them. Silly liberals can't figure that out

Sensationalized news and ratings? This isnt new.
Remember when Fox News said they had sources that Hillary was going to be indicted in a couple days?

This is merely a custom. It is not something that is, or should be, required. It is none of anyone's fricking business what anyone else claims on their personal taxes.
Posted on 3/15/17 at 3:12 pm to ellishughtiger
quote:it's never been required and since you can always guarantee the media and the Democrats will take advantage of public ignorance of how taxes work only a fricking Nutjob conservative would release them. There is literally no advantage to it

We're not talking about John Podesta here

Because legally he doesn't have to show anyone and the one we did see was obtained illegally.

It's also been based on one thing NOT applicable to this election cycle: All previous candidates for 50 years have been career public servants (politicians). The only ones on presidential ballots since Eisenhower not on the public payroll were Ross Perot and Ralph Nader.
