They’ll find something to prosecute him for. Sign the pardon.

If Trump did this, a precedent is set and every POTUS after him could start doing it. Let Biden be the lone POTUS who abused his pardon power to extreme levels instead of inviting every POTUS after him to do the same.

In other words, you’re not interested in asserting power. You’re planning for the loss of power. I remember Rush Limbaugh talking about “conservatives” like you. I think it might have been the first time I heard “milquetoast” on the radio.

To quote Yoda, “That is why you fail.” The president has been set. No one is claiming that Biden’s autopen pardons are not binding. That mean Trump can pardon everyone he knows for anything they may have done and it’s legit.

Sad state of affairs when this is the accepted way for government officials regardless of party. Might be time for some American soul searching

It’s not a precedent yet. If Trump were to also do it, that would basically solidify it as a precedent. That’s my point.

Also, from a very basic standpoint, two wrongs don’t make a right. When Biden did it, people were angry at him abusing presidential power. If Trump does it, then both sides are doing it and the further abuse of power becomes acceptable. It’s the frog in the boiling pot analogy.

Instead of justifying something that is unethical simply because the other side did it, call it what it is. Wrong.

This is exactly what Thomas Paine wrote about when that island far removed from the colonies was setting a different set of rules for the colonies. Rules for thee, not for me.

Biden and the Democrat party clearly have no issues with this, unless a Republican does the exact same thing? If not, The Trump family and everyone connected to his administration will spend the rest of their lives and funds fighting one Democrat lawfare after another!

I would hate that. The American experiment if you look at it from a world history perspective has been the best thing that has happened for our species. The technology advancement prior to 1789, was slow go to say the least! Now after an enlightenment constitution, an experimental freedom government, look at Bill of Rights, extremely controversial at the time, look how far we have come as a people. Other countries adopted the experiment, some tweaked it, but at the heart of it freeeeedom. The last 250 has been a crazy renaissance of innovation and thought. Hate to see the experiment end. Why do you believe that?

He's going to have to. He's kind of screwed himself. Many times.
