Bombs were the weapons of choice in the 60’s and into the 70’s. They would blow up heavy equipment and small equipment shed type buildings regularly. A few classrooms were bombed too (at night or holidays, the goal was terror not murder). The amateurs did have several victims over the years though.

Bomb making materials were easy to get back then and the bombing radicals are the reason today we don’t have access to the stuff.

The anti nuclear people would try to infiltrate missile sites even in Germany (but they found out not to mess with Soviet sites, they were under orders to shoot anyone touching the fence, and did!).

Hell, there were violent protests by pro war, anti war, racial justice plus sexual revolution and a new drug every week to kill you. It was kinda fun. The music from that era is still the best.

I agree, but I was not yet.

I was unaware that the hippies had committed violence protesting the Vietnam war.

If they're not using law enforcement to keep shite under control, 110%.

They're letting this shite fester and are unwilling to remove/arrest/expel these violent trouble makers.

Make no mistake, it these were conservatives it would have already been done.

LSU students were much more interested in panty raids where I saw a news reporter get clocked for taking pictures of out of control panty seekers.. Protest marches for co-ed dorms lead by David Duke did have the necessary permit. That was the focus in the 1960's. It was a great time to be a student.

Yes. Some universities are supporting the antisemitic assholes.

Universities can and do shut down nonwoke speech almost as soon as it happens. But they allow this antisemitic shite to prosper. If they were willing, all this shite happening now would cease..

Ending tenure would go a long way in stopping this nonsense.

If a parent can be convicted because their son shot someone (by providing a gun), then it would make sense that anyone who aids/allows this mess should also be able to be convicted.

If you can be arrested for praying at an abortion clinic, why can’t you be arrested for blocking access to school property?
