Yes in theory, but wouldn't just lead to them committing more crimes? Lol

Im more of a fan of drug testing them and dropping them off on an island in the middle of the ocean if they can't find a job or pass a drug test

But then they'll only steal more when they get out of jail.

So it seems like we're screwed either way.

We need to have much harsher sentences on theft. I don't think the general public minds helping law abiding citizens.

Of course. Those in the private sector are able to make money when they are incarcerated.
