With all money from subscriptions and ad revenue going towards national debt/deficits.

They should be required to live in the dorms their 1st year.
Like freshmen in college.
And hazed with repetitious recordings of the constitution.

It will be much easier for the Military to perform a quicker Coup d'etat when the House and Senate are all together at the same time.
Plus these guys/gals will want this thing to look like a Four Seasons Hotel with Penisula Hotel amenities.

Big Brother: Congress Edition. It would at least let people know what they are really like.

I like the humor of the question.
But, why not move the center of power in this country out of DC. Not talking about moving Congress physically, but why is it necessary for Congress to essentially be in session 12 months out of the year, excepting vacations to campaign and fundraise?
90% of the drama in DC is self-created and done so for campaign fundraising purposes. Be it creating wars or international intrigue to fund the military-industrial complex or new programs on top of new programs to fund the social justice behemoth.
One benefit of technology is Congress could easily vote "gather" by Skype or other video technology. There is really no need for Congress to be in DC permanently and only come home to fundraise and be seen.
Such a change may also encourage real people to run for Congress instead of professional politicians like Paul Ryan and the entirety of the Democrat membership who exist solely to be in politics unless they are defeated or retire at which time they stay attached to the DC teet in some form or capacity as a lobbyist or "pundit".

I wish I could remember who it was exactly, but I heard a congressman on one of the nightly shows say recently that people would be surprised by how much members of Congress get together for dinner and to hang out at night. Basically said that the shite we see on TV is all a show.
