I wasn't even arguing this. I gave you the premise that the elections were "free and fair". Even if that's the case, why does that slim majority (the 51%) get to suck the 49% dry and attempt to silence and disarm them? Under what pretense should the slim minority (49%) simply submit to a tyrannical (51%) just because Joe Scarborough cried about "Democracy" on the morning melt.

Then I would simply say it's the 51% asking the 49% to submit, not the other way around. It's the 51% looking to ban and seize guns from the 49%, and sending them to gulag, and redoing their states election laws by federal fiat. It's the 51% robbing the 49% blind every time Congress is in session, and then doing it via EO even when they are not.
So no, the 51% should not have to submit either. But the 49% has never asked them to.

What if majority of Chinese citizens actually supported the CCP. Let's say 51 or 52%. Do you then support all the actions by the CCP to the Chinese people? By all accounts, Mao was actually elected through "democracy". That doesn't make it good.
