Let's just start with a very simple aspect of your "free college"

Currently 59% of enrolled students (roughly) graduate from college within 6 years of first enrolling.

Is that number likely to up, go down, or stay the same if we suddenly start giving "free" college to everyone who wants it?

Are you insane? Do you realize we have , for example, mechanics cannibalizing planes to put parts on other planes that should have been grounded hundreds of hours ago , and we're asking pilots to fly those planes?

Yeah people like Maxine Waters' husband and Penny Pritzker, Franklin Raines and to a lesser extent Eric Holder as well as noted Democratt donors like Jamie Dimon. A little hisory here, I worked with Richard Baker who was chair of the House Banking Committee in 2005 and he and some other Republicans were very concerned about the explosion of sub prime loans . In a hearing he and some other reps were grilling some of these guys and Maxine Waters and Barney Frank did everything they could do to essentially shout Baker down and intimate he was a racist . I was there for it.....oh yeah, Penny Pritzker was the initial money that moved Barack Obama into the Senate and funded Axelrod's quest to unseal Jack Ryan 's divorce records out in California

The economy from 1995-200 was going to grow no mater what the tax rate was because of the explosion of the internet which changed a lot of things economically. You could have had tax revenue at 16-15% of GDP and things would have boomed likewise at 25%. Funny how we were heading into recession in the summer of 2000
