Tone deaf

Dianne Feinstein, ranking Democrat on Senate Judiciary, argued to us that the Kavanuagh situation is “totally different” than the Tara Reade allegations against Biden. "Kavanuagh was under the harshest inspection that we give people over a substantial period of time.”

“And I don't know this person at all who has made the allegations. She came out of nowhere. Where has she been all these years? He was Vice President,” Feinstein said. She touted his record and then said “to attack him this way to me is absolutely ridiculous.”

"Why didn't she say something -- you know when he was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee or after that?" Feinstein rejected the notion of a Dem double standard and argued the situation isn’t “comparable” to Kavanaugh

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a potential VP pick, asked if she believed Reade's allegations or if she believes Biden: “He’s been forthright. He's answered the questions respectfully and I’m proud to support him."

Asked again if she believes Reade: "I think he’s answered all the questions and he’s made clear that he supports her right to come forward." Asked about criticism that Democrats have a double-standard on the topic, Klobuchar didn’t answer and walked into an awaiting car.

On this point, I actually agree with Feinstein. It's not like Biden was in Antarctica for two decades. He's also run for President several times before.

It's completely believable.

If there was an honest media, no Democrat would be able to cut a ribbon at a post office without getting barraged with questions about this and the double standard.

But that was all before "Believe All Women" and MeToo. She was probably scared to come forward?????

That is one of the aspects that makes the whole entire scenario unbelievable. We’ve just grown to accept it because it’s been this way so long. The manner in which they and their ilk epitomize hypocrisy is unbelievable, and they have zero shame about it.

"Biden will not even receive a cursory inspection, For even a few moments” “And I know Tara since she was a long time staffer for Biden. She didn't come out of nowhere. Where was Forde all these years? While Kavanaugh sat on the Appellate Court” Feinstein said. She disregarded Kavanaugh's record and then said “to attack him this way to me was absolutely polically expedient.” Feinstein rejected the notion of a Dem double standard and argued the situation isn’t “comparable” to Biden, especially since Tara told her next door neighbor, brother, and mother, when It happened.

Corrected her quote!

EDIT: I don't believe Tara Reid, but she is infinitely more credible than Forde was.

This is the first time Biden wasn't in a position of power to squash it. She told the right people at the right times and they just filed it and sealed it.

Didn’t Blasey Ford keep it under raps even longer? And then didn’t she not bring it up when Kavanaugh was a judge at the he second highest judicial level or in the Bush admin?

Her words are absolutely ludricous if anyone takes them at any value.

Ten years longer and Kavabaw was a teenager at the time, while Fingerblasting Joe was a Senator at the time of the alleged rape.

The more democrats that come out saying shite like this pretty much kills the idea of him being replaced as the nominee, correct?

Why go to bat for him if he's going to be replaced?

Um...God bless you? What is Joe Biden under if not the same thing? Kavanaugh was trying to be seated on the Supreme Court, Joe Biden is trying to become the most powerful man on planet earth.

But we've been told by Dems there should be no statute of limitations, and that all allegations of sexual misconduct need to be given very, very serious consideration regardless of when it happened, and that ANY attempt to undermine, intimidate, or otherwise silence a victim is disgusting and unconscionable.

These are their rules, and their words; we're just holding them to account.

They should have just been honest and said they will chopse what issues they would like to politicize for personal gain and they will apply their standards selectively and arbitrarily.

Disappointed in Klobuchar.

Feinstein is a count of epic proportions. Not at all unexpected.
