"Educated" is one of those words liberals love to use because its definition is so meaningless. Let's go with something more easily measured - like intelligence.
There is a direct correlation between intelligence and income, and Republicans make more money than Democrats.
In broad strokes, the Democrat party is made up of tens of millions of ignorant, unproductive, easily manipulated people and a small population of "liberal elite". Republicans make up the majority of everybody in between.
