it may not be technically insider trading; but wtf is Burr doing giving privileged even possibly classified information to people in a little republican give him $100K club?

I'd be ok with insider trading if they weren't selling the country off to foreign countries and getting kickbacks. It's the only way you're gonna get a substantial amount of smart people to work in government for that $150k. You can't have both though. If you're gonna steal from the taxpayer you don't get to insider trade.

Since so many think tanks and people on the gang of 8 knew about the China virus ahead. It is a fair question to wonder who made bank from the possible cure drug announced today, or any future cures?
Yeah it is a common drug for malaria; but Cher and Hollywood started the rumor last week that Trump was due to make bank from insider trading the cure drug.
If $150K annual base salary isn't enough for them all... they can possibly not make the cost of living in DC; where only Bernie million airs can afford to live and work.
Change DC to not being a ballers only town; where Joe the Plumber could run and afford living there. All of their air travel and healthcare, bennies, car allowances, are covered. They have docs and pharmacists on call.

Also, you could predict a drop in the market back then. Stocks were already overpriced and we knew in January that there might be a disruption of the supply lines. Trump had already issued the China travel ban before February 13, and the TD thread started in January.

I mean morally I'm against it, but it's already allowed and they already do it. And with the knowledge and connections they have to corporations they would do it anyway.
