I shudder to think what would happen if Senate Republicans turn on Trump. If that happens I could see myself just never voting for anything again and becoming completely devoid of all things politics.

Is there a way to just surrender your voting registration out of protest? Because literally, in the event this happens... what's the point anymore?

Not sure. But if you no longer vote I suspect you will be dropped from the voter roles at some point. It could take a while.

Senators I don't trust: Romney, McSalley, Murkowski, Collins, Burr, Sasse, Rubio, Alexander. There are more but these are off the top of my head

Exactly. Off the top of your head you rattled off 8 of the 20 needed.

Those 8 would remove Trump tonight.

Everyone wants to just say "no way the Republicans remove Trump".

But if you think about it for 5 minutes you can appreciate the peril Trump is in.

These guys have tremendous power at the moment and they will use it on both sides.

How many of these guys are compromised as well? You think the deep state won't be looking at these guys real close. Side piece? Shady deals? Drug issue?

Trump will be skating a razors edge.

If Trump is removed from office, it will be because Republicans stabbed him in the back. After watching Dems support Clinton and Obama in lock step, Republicans turning on Trump will almost challenge me subconsciously to not even know who the next president is - who my Senators are.. Nothing.

If that happens: frick everything. Liberty is truly dead.

Unless the GOP is stupid, they will not allow it. It will spell the end of them and the party

We all need to get a good night's sleep and then get up early tomorrow. Maybe the news will be better tomorrow.

The news is great right now. Your weak concern trolls are noted, though.

Why are A&M posters such shite?

They are stupid. That's the problem.

They never supported Trump or thought he could win.

They probably think Trump has no chance in 2020 and removing him soon and having a somewhat conventional primary next year is their best chance.

They are that stupid.

Romney would run, Rubio would run, Cruz would run.

They probably believe that's a better plan than sticking with Trump.

They are that stupid.

Very easy to see them rationalizing the removal of Trump.

They aren't Trump people.

We all say well that would be the end of them and the party but trust me, they do not agree.

I never thought of that. And it's very original. I'll bet this is the fist time you've used it. Anyway I'll move to the other side of the street who you pass by.

They aren’t stupid and know Trump is a cash cow for them. They’ll fall in line when push comes to shove.

Does this give you confidence or scare you?

Frankly it scares the shite out of me.

Why? They've rolled over, kowtowed and defended the sleazy fat bastard from day one. The only way he'll be convicted in the Senate is if he kills someone in plain view. Even then, Moscow Mitch and his band of sycophants would find a way to excuse his behavior.

Republicans to worry about.

Mittens
Sasse
Collins
Murkowski
Gardner
Lamar Alexander- not running for re-election
McSally

Trump has reason to be concerned.

You voted for the sleaziest politician in history in 2016. You voted for the woman who has been enriched by selling influence to dictatorships around the world. You voted for the woman who has supported every war the United States has been involved in the last 30 years. You voted for the rotted gut that is the American political establishment. Frick off.

If you are describing Sen Kennedy of Louisiana as an idiot, well I just pitty you.

The man is extremely intelligent and obviously has greater moral than you.

You are an imbecile.

I'll give you Booker. First Step Act was his pet project.

Narc Harris is evil and dangerous. The rest of that list is a bunch of idiots as well.
