Plenty of people get help from the government
We don't need to be sending out even more inflation causing stimulus checks

it will all come crashing down first because doing anything to pay down the debt is akin to political suicide.

No shite. The math aint adding up. $2000 to just a 1/4 of population is a huge number.

Bingo.
Someone has to save him from himself.

Oh, so we can't giving actual working Americans their own money back
Here is the deal. The people who paid the majority of the tariffs will get "zero".
That is not "giving people their own money back".
That is wealth redistribution.

Correct
And an irresponsible attempt to stimulate a sluggish economy

Obama first four years 1.42 trillion, 1.29 trillion, 1.30 trillion and 1.09 trillion. Bidens 3 years not counting his covid year. 1.38 trillion, 1.7 trillion and 1.83 trillion.

Tariff funds are not stimulus. Stimulus is money you do not have. Tariff checks is money you intake. Its not the same.

It's like brainwashing.
The article literally says:
"President Trump had deficits about $800 billion. Obama, in his last four years, $550 billion a year."
$800 billion (R) > $550 billion (D)
But you can't even see it due to your bias. Remarkable.
Obama didn't have COVID happening in his last year.
Not to step on your point—Everybody spends too much and Trump may be the least careful of all of them.
But...COVID.

He isn’t wrong but I would love for senator Johnson to describe what the Senate is actually doing to pass anything of substance

Let's just pull up the drawbridge and stay inside the moat.
Idiotic.
