No it isn't.

It's populist nonsense.

I've never seen anything close to a plan either and there's no way he could do it and keep promises about SS, MC, MA not getting cuts.

Maybe he’s just talking about income taxes and not payroll taxes.

The ones who make money off the existing system love your instant defeatist reaction.

Maybe you are one of them.

Follow the money, it explains just about everything.

"Trump wants to work towards No Tax on 150K or less”

Secretary Howard Lutnick

“Trump doesn’t care if this adds to the National Debt or increases the $1.8T deficit”

It's a simple system comparison exercise.

Compare a sales tax system to an income tax system and it's easy to see which one is less intrusive and more efficient.

As Will Rogers said:

"A tax paid on the day you buy is not as tough as asking you for it the next year when you are broke.”

That isn't the comparison here.

? I had nothing to do with that stupidity. No i believe that has a chance in hell of actually happening (this is a planned distraction, for those playing at home). And if by some miracle it did happen, we’re finished, and would likely see treasuries soar.

The more taxes they’ve collected the more they over spend.

We survived before when barely anyone was paying income taxes.

There are states without income tax.

I’ll take the tax cut, you can pay extra.

Sounds fair.

I agree, but the wealthy already pay more (way more) than their “fair share.” Everyone should have some skin in the game. I would much prefer a consumption tax or a flat tax, but that isn’t being proposed. Taking more tax payers out of the game is not the answer.

I say this as one of the biggest Trump supporters on this board.

So they bitched about no tax on tips.

What’s that going to do?

Then bitched about OT.

Who does that really help?

Wants to reduce tax on 90% of the population.

frick Trump, he’s hitter!

You get taxed multiple ways besides income.

Tariffs, consumption tax.

They can get money without robbing my income

I’m set to get my first quarter bonus this month, it’s going to the government.

I’m sorry, I’m so fricking sick and tired of this shite. You can’t have my fricking money I work hard for.

Know what I’m going to do with what’s left? Invest. But I sure as frick wish I can invest all of it. But no, it’s going to fund dance classes in South America.

If more than 30-35% of your first quarter bonus goes to the government, you need a new accountant.

I don't like that. We need a system where everyone pays some - like a flat tax.
