Seattle and Portland have both had serious crime problems for a while. I’m sure it’s all the White Supremecists, though.

I've been stuck at home and not traveling there since March 6 thanks to Rona. I miss my friends and coworkers out there, a lot. I am so damn happy to not be in the middle of that crap though. Seattle is / was a beautiful, picturesque town completely ruined by the dregs of society and their elected leaders.
When I go back after November 3 comes and goes, I'll be working in South Lake Union (very close to Space Needle) instead of out in the burbs in Bothell. Wish me luck.

Nope.
Still here, riding out the storm.
The city sucks though and parts of it have become no go zones. I’ve been to every school in Atlanta. I’ve been down University Ave past that burned out Wendy’s numerous times. I’m not fricking going there now and I’ve told my company so. We are absolutely planning for the future and it isn’t going to be here.

If Atlanta wasn't born and raised home to both my wife and I, with both our families still nearby, we'd be gone. Both of us fantasizing about moving to eastern Tennessee. This town has been heading downhill for years, including in the burbs, and it's not getting any better. The traffic alone was reason to move before Keisha let the mobs take over.

It depicts Seattle in the year 2100.
It should cheer you right up.
Seattle appears to be way of ahead of schedule in this author's vision of the future.
