Hannity and Ingraham are lightweights. Just talking point machines.

My current belief is that the campaign asked for help openly from the Russians and got it. No provable criminal conspiracy (though several people including Trump himself were identified to have obstructed the investigation, so who knows.)

Nothing has proven you correct, and all signs point to you people being true believing idiots.

But your little conspiracy theories keep you going. Your side has about a dozen regarding Trump.

Essentially Hannity knows he sucks but he won't change won't do shows like Tucker and Watters.

IOW's he is a DC insider boy. Yet he didn't have a problem saying "BOUGHT FOR PAID FOR DOSSIER."

Which says he knew (like Gowdy) ahead of time---- Durham was a dud. Solomon & Victoria Toensing, her husband, Sidney, were all working the fake narrative of arrests in spygate. To sell their books while being disinformation?

What did you think about the Senate Intel Committee Report on Russian interference in the 2016 election?

Haven’t gotten to that one yet, eh?

trump tried last week to get his supporters to reinstate him based entirely on massive fraud that no one can convince either Hannity or ag barr any really happened.
that's good for an insanity plea.
unfortunately people are still getting arrested for various j6 issues so maybe there are now people SECRETLY working on Trumps request/demand/expectation and he will be reinstated.
+
Some guy got arrested yesterday for plotting to kill FBI agents assigned to interview him about his j6 behaviors.

that's got to tamp down the enthusiasm for the Restoration.

Trump doesn’t believe it was stolen

he better pretend then.
his position in his civil suit vs CNN depends on convincing the jury he believes his propaganda.
CNN people said he lied about 2020.
CNN needs to put off this civil trial until after DOJ deals with the claim made by witnesses, to j6 committee, that trump knew he lost.

hannity is only interested in what is best for hannity.

if you listen to his program, listen to how much he talks about himself.

also, he interrupts those who are either guests or those who call in.

he is pathetic as a host.

These ideas are testable. If Trump starts to fade politically, we should see people start to come out talking about not believing the big lie or mostly probably, just not talking about him anymore and moving on.

You think your theory is somehow proven if Trump fades politically and therefore people talk about him less?

You’ve yet to point out a single poster who lies about a belief so they’ll catch less grief on an anonymous forum. And I can point out several people who absolutely live to catch shite here. It’s about the only reason they post.

No, if they believe the big lie less as his popularity fades. It can be difficult to tease out cause & effect, though, in situations like that since one reason his popularity may fade is people start to absorb the facts about the self-coups & come to start to reject the big lie & not want the country to go through that again.

As for lies, this is where Boosie's idea dovetails with the one I've been discussing. Adopting a belief in some empirical fact that's not in evidence is something we sometimes do when we think that fact is evidential for some group identity - for example, coming to belief in widespread election fraud tipping the election because it becomes the sort of thing people like me believe in now. We all watched it happen in real time on this board after the 2020 election and all the bonkers unjustified stuff was floated. None of it has panned out and yet people are continuing to lie to themselves and each other to protect that self-identity conforming to the group norm.

You apparently think posters here base their belief on election fraud on whether or not Trump says there was election fraud. I've "absorbed" plenty of facts about Georgia, Atlanta in particular, and I know fraud occurred. That's not based on anything Trump has or hasn't said, it's based on observation.

This is elementary school bullshite, but it's easy, so I may as well participate. You know there was illegal ballot harvesting in Georgia, you're just never going to admit it, not even to yourself.

Trump is was so unpopular in 2020, Biden got 81 million votes huh?

Is that how Trump increased in popularity in the blueist of blue areas?

So record numbers came out to vote against him, but his % AND gross votes increased everywhere.

Only incumbent in history to GAIN SIGNIFICANTLY in popularity and lose? Yeah ok.

Also won 19 of 20 bellwethers, which meant something until a President is installed and we're told they no longer matter.

And people are supposed to ignore these facts, along with Pennsylvania breaking election laws, in addition to all the other shenanigans and not ask questions?

Dang man. You must be a salesman's dream. You just lap that CNN shite up huh?

He has no choice but to believe it. Otherwise he couldn't protect his self-identity that conforms to his group norm, and that's so important to people it drives them to believe things that deep down they know aren't true.

That's how I've been told it works, anyway.

Interspersed between all of his "uhhhhs", "ummmms", "you knows", and "anyways", along with the repetitive lists of tired old talking points.

He is as insufferable a radio host as you will ever hear.

You're a good sport, Flats, and you're hanging in through this way more than the average person would, so thanks. And yes, we all tend to outsource our beliefs to trusted authorities and networks of trusted intermediary sources, so it makes good sense to plug into networks which have better epistemic practices (things like institutions that set high standards for research, following track records of performance, editorial practices, accountability, ethical codes, peer review, etc.) Usually when you DYOR, your motivated reasoning just serves you up your priors which were set up by your group in the first place. If you follow gurus, their charisma and brilliance can be compelling, but you can end up in rabbit holes.
