He's just a Lindsey Graham, establishment lackey. About the only thing Sean Hannity loves, is Sean Hannity.
At this point, I'm surprised he has any viewers left on Fox. Who's tuning in to see that clown?
Obligatory gifs for this guy

Sure - in church I've taken the host pretending to believe the host has been transformed into body due to general group identification with my denomination. Not all communists in 2022 will earnestly believe that the unfolding dialectic forces of history will end forever in a proletariat-owned means of production. These things create a lot of cognitive dissonance, though, and we often come to believe to some extent, reducing the dissonance. To bring this back to the thread, Hannity is an individual in a system and you'll notice that people in this thread aren't really that surprised he doesn't really believe Trump didn't win.
If the psychology and sociology around this are interesting to you, you might check out Not Born Yesterday: The Science of Who We Trust and What We Believe by Hugo Mercier. There's a lot of really interesting data from communities that one would think are pretty uniform, but when you look under the surface, there's a lot of diversity.

Erick Sevareid was the last great journalist. Sean Hannity is a talking head, and not a good one at that. Regarding conservative thought on MSM television, there isn't much to choose from. Tucker Carlson does a super job on fox. But let's not fool ourselves, the goons at the FBI are gunning for him. Don't get me started on Chris Wray.
On radio? Clay and Travis do a commendable job. Hard to replace Rush.
But Sean Hannity. Big disappointment.
As you were.

Mr. “Tick Tock” had me strung along for a time before I finally wised up a couple of years back.
I no longer waste a second listening to anything that guy has to say.

What I said doesn’t apply to you. You’re unhinged enough to be a true believer.

You continue to conflate our society, the people who know us and that we interact with on a daily basis, with an anonymous forum. There simply aren't the same pressures; they're not in the same universe.
But since you're so sure it occurs here, which posters did you have in mind? And what do you say HERE that you don't really believe, as you succumb to the crushing peer pressure?

Hilarious coming from someone who doesn't believe there was any illegal ballot harvesting. True believer indeed; not a smidgen of controversy or corruption.

Progressives prefer a puppet.
I hope they get everything they want, their wealth will disappear overnight.
Most Democrats aren't intelligent enough to understand basic econ, which will be their decline. Let them rage and cry, because its their future they'll frick up.

I agree with you that they're not the same magnitude, but they're more or less of the same kind and they're most definitely in the same universe.
If you interact with others here on a daily basis then you come to know their posting habits, many of their beliefs, some of their intellectual and social virtues and vices (& they know yours) in a similar (but attenuated) way to "IRL". E.g. I've had an account for 19 years and my past posting affects my current status. E.g. several times a week people bring up that I used to post about the Mueller investigation frequently. Our reputation here follows us.
The way that most people manage it isn't with lies, but with silence. Silence may conceal assent, dissent, or neutrality, but it's generally taken socially as tacit assent. I have all sorts of heterodox opinions that I wouldn't bother to bring up here. Others do too, though, most people who are crosswise to the tribe here just stop showing up (See Angelle's list of noted posters in an earlier response to me, e.g.) HHTM is one I brought up. He's achieved pariah status in that he's been marked as a traitor, which is the worst status you can have here.

He's legit mental and has to be on meds. I doubt most people care if someone disagrees with them on an anonymous forum; I know I don't.

Because it speaks to your political credibility. In any event, does it harm you? You still post here, so you obviously don't care if people disagree with you. Hell, we have a couple of posters who live for that.

That is 100% contextual.

>10% of the US population is on meds and many of the same people who post here post on the OT about their meds and they stay in good standing because they stay close to community norms. HHTM didn't - he posted preferences for figures unacceptable to pop/nationalists and the massive unacceptable one was saying that Trump lost and that people should accept it and move on.
Now that we're in agreement that reputation here exists, it matters and a lot of the rough posting that goes on is meant to virtue and vice signal to others posters and police unacceptable opinions.
These ideas are testable. If Trump starts to fade politically, we should see people start to come out talking about not believing the big lie or mostly probably, just not talking about him anymore and moving on.
