You are spot on with those events. I just want to add, the two MS13 suspects showed up dead two weeks later in New Jersey.

The data transfer speed proves it was an inside job. You had to be at the physical location of the DNC servers to achieve those download speeds. Unless the Russians were in the DNC building it’s physically impossible to achieve those download speeds.

It is an unsolved murder, with an unresolved motive. Julian Assange personally offered a reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of SR's killer. The FBI hasn't a scintilla of first hand evidence to draw conclusions that Wikileaks information did not come from a thumbdrive.
It seems until authorities do their job, opinion journalists have every right to speculate.
