He put crack/cocaine across our country (which fueled the growth of cartels btw), helped Afghanistan in their war with Russia (and we saw how that turned out), and reagonomics (after yet another study) is garbage…. I mean what a run

Do you realize what actually goes into high level clearances?
Serious question BT. Does Secretary of Treasury have the authority to grant access to treasury data? If so, that appears to be exactly what happened.
"Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave representatives of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency access to the federal payment system late on Friday, according to five people familiar with the change, handing Elon Musk and the team he is leading a powerful tool to monitor and potentially limit government spending."
ETA: "The Musk allies who have been granted access to the payment system were made Treasury employees, passed government background checks and obtained the necessary security clearances, according to two people familiar with the situation, who requested anonymity to discuss internal arrangements.

…idk maybe I actually lived it LOL have family members still impacted by it. Reagonomics stuff is already documented by non-partisan and partisan sides alike, it’s just bad for businesses. Cartels also gaining financial power with CIA assistance is also a fact. Osama also was trained by the CIA along with other afghani fighters, which came back to bite us down the line. These things aren’t democratic bs, it’s pretty well known stuff

When he hires his staff (as pointed out), they’ll have to go through the clearances for his assignments which is protocol. I don’t care who they hire or appoint, that’s their privileges. But don’t cut the corners. Again, I am only arguing for proper rule of law. I wasn’t going around whining about the election in 2016, 2020, or 2024, nor will I. The big issue currently is what are the bounds of a president. If the Supreme Court (which is massively conservative) overrides the challenges, I’m not about to sit and moan about it. It went through the process and that was it. Checks and balances in action. Win some and lose some. All I’m saying is that if we are going to push out fraud and corruption, we need to stick to our laurels of the Constitution and what it outlines because we always get the short end as the people when folks run amuck. You don’t create change but sticking to what the same people have done and manipulate how you deem fit. Break the mold and get back to the basics. Idc who’s president once they are sworn in, I just want results and to align with the laurels.

The time for half-measures is over. Start jailing these criminals.

Removing clearance again is not the same as granting it.

On his first day in office, Trump issued a memo, directing the White House counsel to grant for up to six months top secret / sensitive compartmented information security clearances to designated personnel.
I don't know what else to tell you dude. Read the fricking post. Trump has the authority to grant clearance even without an FBI check and he wasn't the first to do it. Maybe take your own advice and Google it.

It was put into policy by DNI Clapper in 2016ish. He for sure wouldn’t have been able to enter that quickly because those tweets would’ve extended his process

When you are dealing with an organization that is corrupted from top to bottom you can't have both. They can stop Trump from doing anything at all by sending it to the courts until the next Dim gets in.
It was illegal to form this country. Consider that for a second.
You should be outraged that a fricking judge is not following the law.

the notion of judicial review was created out of thin air in 1803 in marbury v. madison it's a custom we've observed but it is not in the constitution jethro.
