Either they didn't cast a vote (you can leave a race blank), or voted for a 3rd party candidate (polling question didn't consider the latter possibility).

I agree and this was the Dems toughest seat to hold given Florida demographics.

The GOP's toughest is Nevada.

Absolutely since the Panhandle is the GOP's base in the state. If the Dems can't hold serve in the rest of the state, that may not look good for Gillum either.

Yep, losing the rest of the state means it's going to be a blood-bath for the Dems when the Panhandle gets involved.

So if the polls are showing Scott up, he will win by 5%...count it as a pickup for the good guys.

They never do the f@ck sticks
The tourism board of Florida once put out a national brochure leaving the Panhandle off the map.

Man I hope so.

Scott is amazing when it comes to hurricane preparedness and response. I’d venture to say there are few elected officials better in the US.

I meant tougher as in a real race with a real chance it could go either way.

I'll agree Indiana ranks up there. Possibly Missouri as well though McCaskill was slipping most of the year. ND was pretty much a lost cause.
