This douche is working it.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday said President Trump should keep out of government spending negotiations or risk a partial shutdown in December when funding expires.

“We believe if President Trump stays out of the appropriations process we can have a good, bipartisan agreement and the government can move smoothly forward,” Schumer told reporters shortly after Democratic senators reelected him to lead the party in the 116th Congress. LINK

That is the only downside to govt shutdown...they give all workers back pay, etc...so there really isn't any savings

What he means is “don’t request wall funding” because we are going to just welcome everyone in, juice up the welfare state, and watch more diseases spread.

And also, “who cares if we narrowly have an edge in the house, the govt will run at our whim”

In other words

"As long as President Trump is not there to give confidence to the Republican, they will cower down before Me and Nancy and piss themselves like the whipped dogs they are. If Trump insists on getting involved and strengthening the Republicans resolve to negotiate for their constituents then we will threaten to shut down the governments and blame it on the evil Republicans to fear monger our constituents into rioting and tearing up more shite."

In a nut shell....
