It's a waste of time. This type of stuff was so common in the mortgage industry it was akin to SOP. Trump should have never been gigged for possible fudging of some #'s.....and neither should Schiff. IIRC the interest rates between a first home and second home used to range between .5 to 1.25 percentage points.

Like the Trump case. If he's paying it, they tend not to really care. It's between Schiff and the bank. Fannie shouldn't care so long as it and others in the class are performing....meaning no lates or default/foreclosure .

If his primary residence as he claimed to FNMA was in Maryland as opposed to CA, then he should be expelled from congress.

Does he mean lawfare? We were told that doesn’t exist. Nobody has ever weaponized the justice system to harass.

I will say again this POS was a prosecutor. I have zero doubt he fabricated evidence in cases to get convictions. Dude is not capable of honesty.

Not close to true. Read the BS on Trump, the bank said Trump was right and no harm was done, it was big money and if Trump was fudging the bank would have certainly spoken up.

Schiff and the biotch in NY committed fraud in their own handwriting......nothing will happen but if Trump did they to scale they would have hung him.

Not accurate. My mom lost her house during the recession of 2008 (long story) so I bought a smaller home for her and had to declare it a 2nd residence. The rate differential was far greater than you suggest. Also likely limits credits you can claim to lower property taxes—at least it does in my state.

The fact that Schiff took 5 minutes to publicly try and get ahead of this tells you that he is deeply concerned about it. Why necessary to spend 5 minutes trying to explain yourself to the American public? Trump is swimming in that beady little head of his.........

Tell that to Marilyn Mosby. Schiff and Letitia James FO'd and are about to FA. Mortgage fraud can mean jail time and forfeiture of property.

Very accurate on rates. Provided you have a greater than 680 credit score and larger down-payment. You can check with just about any lender on this matter or run an AI search through Google. Property taxes would be different but that depends on the state.

2008 you were lucky to get a loan for that type of thing, though as credit markets were starting to freeze up. Really beginning in the summer of 2007 lasting until 2010 -11 , but after that so long as you were not trying a liar's loan like No Ratio or Stated income or NIV loans you had a rate fluctuation between .75 and 1.25 with a 15 - 20% down stipulation. Plus there were distance stips added. Right now your spreads with a 100+ mile difference is anywhere between .25 and 1%

NY banking laws were not the same as VA or even MD's banking laws which are less regulated.

Schiff will go down to the very end protesting his prosecution....up and until Leeroy bends him over his bunk and gives him his reward.

IIRC, that's not what you were opining when Trump was put through this bullshite. You can't have it both ways, dick. Just own it instead of e-blowing Schiff's micropeen.
