He’s got one: he personally reads and responds thoughtfully to each and every constituent letter, and doesn’t just pawn that off on an intern or secretary. I wrote him a letter in high school asking him to vote a certain way (he voted the other way), but he replied with a letter where he countered each and every one of my points explaining his vote thoroughly. Every staff member I’ve spoken to has confirmed that this is his policy.

I worry that he is yet another corrupt politician as well
No flack from me. I don't really care for Jeff Landry and I don't think many swing voters will either.
If he runs, I think John Bel gets another term.
Scalise would be a slam dunk though.

I asked Scalise to run last time. He was too loyal to Vitter to run.
He would be governor today had he run.
Any republican besides Vitter would be governor today had they run straight up against JBE. Even the RINO Dardenne would have beat JBE. Billy Nunngessor got more votes for Lt. Governor than JBE did for governor.

He's about to become the second or third most powerful person in the country. Why would he take a step down to deal with the shite show that is Louisiana politics where no wants anything actually done?
