The crown prince has vowed to subdue the Wahabi brand of Islam. If he is sincere that's a huge win for the planet. Both Hollywood and Silicon Valley ate it up. I believe Trump is being pragmatic as he should be.

Maybe we should stop doing business with backwards oppressive, religiously fanatical regimes, but I really don't care about this. I barely even see how this is an issue that requires a retaliatory response by the US.
Saudi Arabia is who they are, and we've accurately portrayed them as one of the lesser evils in the region.
Trump obviously doesn't want this to impact the arms deal.
