Reading this graph clearly proves the need to address white privilege, domestic terrorism, gun control, vaccinations and climate change.

If you ignore this science you are the problem.

I wish they would compare the scores between private schools and public schools.

They scale that back from a 300 minimum to a 200 minimum (lowest per section) and I would be interested to see a racial breakdown of the scorers.

Which is why a quickly-increasing number of universities are no longer requiring SATs and ACTs for admission. The truth illustrated by these scores is too inconvenient for the woke higher education industry.

That's going to upset a lot of people on this board.

Quality of schooling is a major factor too.

When something doesn't add up, it equals a problem with math

Can’t wait until the statistics of how many minority enrollees end up either not graduating or getting a degree ending in “studies”.

Same. It would make much more sense to break it up by percent of race in each SAT range. This skews it since each race makes of different percentages of the population.

The solution to this chart is the answer to this question by the parents to their kids: "Did you get your math homework done?"

BS, when you have a group with an average IQ of 80, they will not grasp much no matter who much they study and homework they do. IQ is not cultural.

Questions become as follows…

1. If they are that far behind on IQ, should they even be taking standardized tests and going to college?

Qualified kids should be able to without a doubt.

Pookie who majors in Smoking Area? Less so.

2. Isn’t average IQ a cultural thing to a degree when a culture pushes looks / size / athleticism over brains?

Intellectual ability is outright discouraged in a lot of minority groups. Instead, it is “I scored four touchdowns in one game!” or “I got my Jimmy waxed six times last week!”

Ask and you shall receive. Nationally, 2% of test takers got a 750 or above. Among Asian-Americans, 15% of Asian-American test takers got above a 750.

Why do you think there is a push to get rid of the SAT?

So I went to one of the poorest school districts in the Midwest with some really bad teachers ...

But still scored 780 on the math portion in 1992. (humble brag)

What you meant to say is:

It starts at home. With parents who have their kids do the work, read, and study. Schools have nothing to do with it.

YMMV

My wife of 18 years is Asian as are my nephew and step-daughter. Asian's take hard core education very seriously. Much like Jews before them, there are many strong academic after school programs. These schools don't include basket weaving and finger painting.

The little kids are bright. You can see it in their eyes.

The kind of serious academic after-school Asian's often employ, would have been considered just shy of cheating by my parent's generation.

Look at the shifts between 550-650. You must remember these numbers are based on the percentage of people at the specific range. This changes the look.
Would like to see how many people per race at each point on the graph.
