One thing I’ve always loved about Rush is his humor. He’s a very funny guy. His impersonations and his voices are hilarious.

I served with plenty of men that were not worthy of the uniform. Your blanket statement is flat out wrong!!

My favorite was Judge Hirschner in the Anita Hill v. Thomas Clarence hearings. Does anyone else remember that one?

His Bill Clinton was the best. Long before Trump, he came up with the best nicknames: Dingy Harry, DaNang Dick, Leakey Lahey, the Haughty John Kerry - I’m forgetting a lot of really good ones.

I’d forgotten all about that, it was great! He had some good ones during the Clinton Asian donations scandal too. He uses a foghorn Leghorn voice for VA Gov Northam, which is hilariously appropriate even though it sounds nothing like Northam.

Damn this is terrible news. This also touches home for me. My mom was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer found in her lungs. She died a 69. Way too young for her. She was a picture of health running a palates studio. She only lasted 2 years after it was found at age 67. The ENT found it when she went in for a persistent cough.

Cancer blows.

This is a good reminder that smoking tobacco is bad for you and will kill you ok?

I don’t care how cool that cigar or cigarette looks, your lungs and and heart is designed to inhale and exhale air/oxygen, not consume smoke and have bunch of toxic chemicals put in it.

Smoking is trashy. And deadly.

Don’t do it.

I hope he can beat it because it's a terrible way to go.

Prayers to him and his family, it will be a tough road.

Rush Limbaugh revolutionized political talk radio. Others have tried to imitate him but no one else has come close.

He shortened many a long drive talking to me. And that's what he did. He talked TO ME.

The first time I heard Rush was in 1988 on the Baton Rouge station WJBO. I was a student worker in the soil microbiology department in the college of agriculture. I would have never discovered him if it wasn't for the LSU school pick-up truck I had to drive from campus to the experimental soybean fields off of River Road. The truck only had an AM radio. That's when I first heard Rush.

Yes, I was great. That was when Rush was at his best. His updates were hilarious. Homeless, animal rights, Barney Frank (lollipop)....

Sad

My mom died from it in 2010 and it was horrible to watch her go. I don't think I'd wish that on anyone.

I listened to his show driving back to NOLA today, I got back to my office at 130 pm. Had no idea this kind of announcement was 25 min away.

Insane.

Maybe you should get out and meet some people at the local Bingo.

Saw Rush in Lafayette 1988.

He was on his RUSH TO EXCELLENCE tour and his show was on only 50 stations.

Godspeed my friend!
