White folks must be a massive problem in America since you're mentioned 20 times in this ridiculous Senate Bill...

https://www.congress.gov

quote:

On February 22, 2019, a Trump Administration United States Department of Justice official wrote in a New York Times op-ed that “white supremacy and far-right extremism are among the greatest domestic-security threats facing the United States. Regrettably, over the past 25 years, law enforcement, at both the Federal and State levels, has been slow to respond. … Killings committed by individuals and groups associated with far-right extremist groups have risen significantly.”.

Our lawmakers are deadset on creating a race war. Fact.

Why is it that the only time I hear about this white supremacy stuff is when its coming out of a politician's pie hole?

I would be interested in seeing what they are classifying as "far-right extremist groups".

These idiots in our government can't even figure out the terms left-wing and right-wing. These idiots label neo-nazis as far right and Antifa as far left.

They're the exact same thing.

Black males comprise 6.5% of the population, but they commit somewhere between 47%-52% of the murders in America. Funny how neither Spartacus or Kamala Knee Pads ever mention that.

It's a meme constructed by left wing activist groups like the ADL and SPLC and It's bolstered by cuckservatives. What it really is, an anti-White blood libel.

That's not the traditional spectrum model of politics. Communism and Fascism have been traditionally thought of as diametrically opposed because one is egalitarian, class-less and internationalist while the other is class-based, oriented around a national ideology. Monarchy has traditionally been thought of as on the right as well, as traditional notions of conservatism have included monarchists.

Seems pretty spot on, given the current environment.

The fact that many of the examples in their "Findings" section use the word "allegedly" should be an issue with anyone. We don't make policy based on allegations.

They also mention the New Zealand shooting in the "Findings" section, which should have absolutely zero bearing on a "Domestic" Terrorism Bill.

There's a serious issue here...

Nah, this is the angle they will use to come after the guns...

But don't worry, they don't really want your guns...

Good answer and there is some difference in how Americans and Europeans define left and right wing.

I feel like there's way too much going on in your definition. I think the real question you want to ask when talking about governments is, how much freedom does the average individual have? That's the only question that matters.

For me, left and right wing lay on a spectrum from total government power to no government power.

To me that's a much more useful set of definitions and considering there's no official governing body that determines the definition of such, everybody will have a different interpretation.

It seems to me a lot of people mold the definition to fit whatever the political ideological zeitgeist is of the day. I prefer to keep things simple.

ETA:

People also have a bad habit of confusing forms of government with forms of economy. Socialism and Monarchies shouldn't even be on the same spectrum. One is a form of economy in which the government owns or controls the means of production the other describes who that government is. You could have representative democratic socialism or a free-market Monarchy or any other infinite number of combinations.
