Oh ok. That makes Putin justified as thousands of innocent Ukrainians will die.
Oh, and I'm sure that's Biden's fault.
Idiot.

So do we not care about innocent Russians?

I agree. I love USA, but I understand why Putin would not trust us, or be concerned about his nations security.
Not condoning his actions, but it's not surprising. That's how he thinks, seeing weak leadership and knowing USA and Europe need Russian oil.....

Iraq could have dispelled this myth pretty easily by allowing the UN inspectors into the suspect facilities, as they had already agreed to as part of the cease fire. Saddam told the world to frick off. What was the world supposed to think?
They did, actually. But we kept upping the requirements. And since when did the UN get to decide how much sovereignty countries have?

I'm not saying the war is a good thing. I'm saying it is partially our fault, as well as the president of Ukraine's. He bet that Russia wouldn't stop him from joining NATO. He bet wrong. That was a decision that he made, that he has to take responsibility for.
Everyone has agency in this, not just Putin.
Additionally, if you don't think there have been atrocities in the separatist war in the Donbas on both sides, you're the idiot.

I'll never understand the thought process that prescribes any degree of fault to Ukraine for making its own foreign policy decisions. Doing so legitimizes Putin's illegitimate "right" to dictate the policy of other sovereign nations. That is ridiculous.
Ukraine elected a pro-Western government because its citizens want to integrate further with Europe.

So?
Neither invasion is/was justified.
All that needs to be said, but try reasoning with people whose only ability to arguing is measured in memes and cartoons.

Hey one day we will find those weapons of mass destruction the CIA gave Iraq to use on Iran.

I like how you stated their pretense.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this. You understand Russia is making their own foreign policy decisions as well? Do you think Mexico would be totally blameless if they talked about how they were going to join the Warsaw Pact, and let Soviet troops station on their borders across the Rio Grande? "Hur Dur! Can't be mad at Mexico for making their own foreign policy decisions! America has no right to be upset!"
Ukraine is a big boy country. They made a big boy decision and miscalculated the reactions of their neighbors. Was I surprised by the invasion as well? Absolutely, I didn't think Russia would take the risk, which I don't think will work out for them. But I'm not a president with an intelligence agency that should have taken that into account.

Clearly not all its citizens did. 58% supported joining NATO.
The support for joining NATO was non existent in the Eastern regions, which are predominantly Russian speaking and ethnically Russian.

We should have never gone into Iraq. I'm still not seeing great arguments that Putin was in the right either.

Bush, Cheney, and Colon Blow Powell should have all been put in Gitmo. All war criminals.

Iraq had WMDs. It’s time to come to terms with it. Bush was right.

Imagine believing the MSM that Iraq did not have WMD's. They 100% had them.

We had legal cause for war. It just wasn't a smart choice. There are lots of things that are legal that still aren't worth doing.
