Why do you want Germany to buy Russian gas instead of American LNG
American LNG is 3x more expensive than Germany was paying for Russian pipeline natural gas. That is why German industry is collapsing. Once that happens China and Russia will be even stronger. China is building a shite load of factories in Russia now.

You are easily impressed. Do you think that your IQ of 85 is genius level?
The reality is that this is from new gas fields not previously developed gas fields which were supplying Europe. The pipeline had been under negotiation for years. Russia had to give away an arm, a leg and Putin's nuts.

Yep, China is bending Russia over on the nat gas prices because Russia has no other outlet.

Russia should be a thriving and modern European country. Now they’re isolated from the modern world, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future. Are now handicapped to a large foreign power (China), and are selling things for at the most, 50% from what they were selling things prior. And now Trump is about to take back over the US, and will push our O&G and more American things onto our allies in Europe, which means only more and more pain for Russia. Russia pretty much lost a huge portion of their market in Europe. And now a Trump lead USA will easily take over the European market again.
Putin wanted the US’s influence out of Europe. Well he did the exact opposite.
A Russia lead by Putin, will never be allowed back into the modern sphere. They’re a large North Korea now. They’re fricked and it’s all because of the decisions of one man. But all for the Motherland and the people of Russia!!

No they are not
They are strategic partners now. China knows a strong Russia is a way to prevent America from preventing China in taking over Taiwan. China and Russia are joined at the hip now. The exact thing that Kissenger said could never happen. Thanks Biden!

The U.S. wanted Russia's influence out of Europe. Tom Cotton said it best.

Ultimately, the Nord Stream 2 pipeline is emblematic of the Biden administration’s America Last foreign policy. But there is still time to stop it. I’m urging the president to reverse course immediately. There is little room for error left at this late, perilous stage. Nord Stream 2 is 95 percent completed—like an outstretched arm, Russia’s pipeline extends ominously within reach of Germany’s shore. We have to move quickly and in concert with our allies to make sure it extends no farther.
This Russian pipeline is bad for America and bad for Europe. If the president wishes to take the reins of international leadership, this is his opportunity. Kill Nord Stream 2 now, and let it rust beneath the waves of the Baltic.

Their is no European market without cheap natural gas. That's why they are collapsing. US LNG Nat gas is 3x as expensive. Germany is collapsing because of it. Those plants are closing.

That’s very true as well. I completely agree and have always thought the same thing about Nordstrom pipeline. Bad for American business and economy, and Nordstrom handicaps Western Europe to their enemy, Russia, who was one day going to go on an offensive against the West in a proxy war in Ukraine.
I actually used to debate with a German exchange student in college about this all the time. She loved Merkel and thought Nordstrom was a good thing. Thought I was crazy for saying one day Putin is going to invade Ukraine and start a war against the West, and if you’re getting all your O&G from Russia, then yall are fricked when his war begins. This was 2017ish.
But that kind of mindset and tactics from the Biden/Obama people was so so stupid. It enabled a guy like Putin. On one hand, Russia is a huge threat, but on the other, we needed to build a pipeline to connect Russia to Western Europe, so that they can sell O&G to each other lol.

how dare they try to do business deals without the approval of America

Germany's economy is imploding after US blew up their pipeline
This is BS. Germany committed economic suicide over two decades by buying off on the Green Dream. They put money in windmills and solar panels in a land where the wind doesn't blow enough to make windmills economic and the sun doesn't shine enough to make solar economic. They shut down coal plants with subsidized renewables and drove energy costs sky high. Germany also won't build nuclear power plants.
The German Green party that led the anti nuke and renewable charge is backed by...Russia!

There’s no question about it. Europe has put themselves in a tough spot economically, but they’ll be fine. They’re going through it right now, but watch. They’ll change and fix policy, and the US will be there to help them too. Especially with a Trump lead US. They’re already completing step one of fixing policy, by getting far away from Russia, and investing more into their militaries, so that the US isn’t the main one footing the bills, and doing all the fighting. They’re making themselves stronger, which in turn makes this whole alliance, and the US stronger.

Germany was fine as long as they had cheap Russian Natural Gas from Nordstream. Now they cannot compete with China and Germany industry is collapsing. This is a China wet dream. Killed off Europe's manufacturering base and secured Russian cheap energy for the next 30 years. Whoever thought of this plan was a complete dumbass

Germany was fine when they had a stable and reliable energy based on coal plants. They pissed this away by replacing coal plants with wind and solar. Nat gas was used when renewable production drops off (when the wind doesn't blow and sun doesn't shine) but wasn't needed at all when coal plants up and rolling.

There are some folks in Norway who would disagree. No need for the hundreds of thousands of men with the tech authorized for use once the Chinese decide to get froggy!!

That price will decrease as Germany’s LNG import infrastructure doubles over the next two years. It will also decrease as Trump ramps up production of American natural gas which will lead to more LNG on the global market and lower prices. Why do you want Germany to buy from Russia instead of America? Are you some kind of Russian loving and America hating commie?

China is taking steps to secure their energy supplies as they still need the us to secure their energy transport

He is. It’s pathetic seeing some of the hoops these people go through, that defend Russia, and go against OUR country’s best interest.
