Then you and he have something in common...

I didn't listen to yesterday's show, although I read your quotes from theblaze or whatever it was. I did listen to today's show. I only commented on what I listened to, not a third-hand quoted paragraph from a 20 minute dialogue.

You said he "NEVER" said he didn't know why Robin Williams committed suicide. I heard him say it more than once today. You said it was a lie. Just proving that he actually did say it, when you say he "never" did.

the situation were reversed then yeah it would still be wrong and i would be the first one to criticize that liberal commentator.
Interesting. Given the multiple opportunities to do so.... Can you cite examples of you doing so?

As for your gif meme... It simply affirms your apparent belief in the carefully crafted caricature of conservatives. It's an entirely unintellectual position right up there with "Obama is a Muslim" and "all democrats are commies". Congrats.

I heard a good bit of Limbaugh today. He was making a point that his "nuanced" commentary yesterday was either deliberately or inadvertently misconstrued. Maybe he was extending and amplifying his previous remarks as he implied, but it came across a tad crawfishy and self extenuating.

Politicizing a man's suicide, which I believe Limbaugh did, either deliberately or inadvertently, no matter how nuanced his intent might have been, raised him to the level of dick which was part of Rex's original point.

Having said that, Rex's thread title, if not his transcript link, is misleading and inflammatory.

Stupid and insensitive comment, but the thing is you can't dispute it. The guy is dead so we don't know why he killed himself.

I used to when I was less enlightened. He is a blowhard who just throws out red meat to his "mind numbed robots".

MediaMatters and Rex are essentially the same. They are also using it as an opportunity to politicize their agenda. If they find Rush's comments abhorrent--why repeat them and bring them to the forefront of conversation? Their motives appear to be no less political.

so I take it it's standard for the op to lie any time he wants and get away with it since he's an LSU moniker?

I can't believe listeners take him seriously.

Spot on!! I'm conservative and could never understand the appeal of this fat frick.

All of this.

Really, a political commentator with a committed right or left view should just STFU about Robin Williams or any tragic event like it. No matter what the commentator says, he or she is using it in the context of his or her agenda. frick all of them.

IDK, he did make you look kind of foolish when he dropped that transcript link you were so certain didn't exist......

Now that he finds himself having to throw more and more red meat to his shrinking audience, Ann Coulter-style, his hate speech is being recognized for what it is, even on the right. He would have been a model Nazi.

It is worse on MSNBC.

Sadly two of the "most watched news channels" aren't reporting news but firing up their respective base. End result- More hate speech and toxic retoric.

We have become a county divided by Fox and MSNBC.

It is very sad, and as we've seen doesn't make for better government.

I saw them do this to Glenn Beck when he was on Fox News. Van Jones's group "Color of Change" (which can't be a huge group) was the driver of the boycott.

They want conservative voices gone. Modern day book burners.

And Rex is a useful idiot.
