Rush Just Nailed It Regarding the State of "Journalism" in 2019

These bought-and-paid-for hacks have totally destroyed a once legitimate profession.
PS - Rush also just stated the obvious, but it needs to be said. This entire sordid mess is simply an attempt to destroy Trump & overturn the results of the 2016 election.
And finally, Rush correctly stated that no other potential Republican President could've withstood this 3-year long attack. ONLY TRUMP.

Told my brother the same thing yesterday.

Journalism died the minute journalists and editorial boards felt that it was their responsibility to promote opinions instead of reporting the facts.
That happened a long, long time ago. Many are just now catching up to it.

I'd like to know the time Rush thought it was a legitimate profession. I'm almost 40 and I've never seen it.

Yep. These panelist news shows is what ruined their profession. I remember the days when "reporting" was just that. Facts, figures were once the sole purpose of a reporter. Then these panelists asswipes came along with their "opinion". Field reporters felt to stay relevant, they had to do the same. That's where they screwed their pooch.

There have always been periods of yellow journalism and some segments have been weaponized all the way back to the very first contested Presidential election.
Having said that, journalism was a solid, if imperfect, check on governmental overreach until the Vietnam War. Since then, the MSM has been a tool of the global progressive movement. Why that happened, exactly, I can't say. But, part of the old COMINTERN's mission was to infiltrate as many elements of Western society as possible:
Government
Teachers
Academia
Journalism
Kruschev said he would bring us down without firing a single shot. This is what he was talking about. Even though the poisoner is dead, the poison lingers.

He's making the point that I made two days ago. I'll celebrate when the perpetrators of this hoax are prosecuted. And I agree with him that the only guy on the GOP side with the spine to pursue that is Lindsey Graham.
Republicans tend to shrug their shoulders and say 'OK, no harm no foul.'
That's why the Dems aren't afraid of breaking the law.

Can you see Mittens or Kasich?
They would have fired their entire WH staff, willingly rolled against former campaign staff, allowed democrats to pick cabinet heads out of “gestures of goodwill and bipartisanship,” yielded the narrative to the media and cowered in fear from the attacks, and groveled at the feet of democrats, pleading for them to allow them to continue to be president.

Nothing will ever change unless heads roll. Don’t let those traitors get away with what they did to Trump and the country.

Does the MSM report truth on anything?

Agree. Love it when folks hearken back to the good old days when Walter Cronkite was the only one feeding them the democrat propaganda playbook on a nightly basis.

A little off topic, but I was listening to Rush today and as he was making the above statement I came to a realization that Mitt Romney may be been of those that "couldn't withstand the attack". In 2012 he was gaining great ground against BHO when suddenly, after the first debate when MR rolled BHO, his entire approach seemed to change over night. Some say that he thought he had done enough and was now trying to be "presidential", but I find it easy to believe that BHO and his minions went after him hard.
We now see what the DS did to try to stop DJT, but what did they hide while their golden boy was still in power?
I can't shake the feeling that they pushed Mittens hard enough to break him for life.
