I disagree. This has become Russia's goal now that they couldn't take down the the government or take the whole country.

But initially, Putin thought he would be able to drive right into Kiev and take it within weeks with the rest of the country falling in line when Kiev fell. His strategy was similar to the USA taking Baghdad. He didn't understand how much resistance they would encounter or the weaponry that Ukraine had and how bad his army was.

When his heavy amour and soldiers started getting chewed up the strategy for the long term conflict pivoted to taking Eastern Ukraine.

Now Putin is trying to get all the Ukraine land possible and get Ukraine off of Russian soil in Kursk, before Trump comes in a freezes the lines.

All of Ukraine was what Putin wanted. Now all he will have after the Russians failures during the war, is farm land in eastern Ukraine.

Sorry, I’m not buying Ukrainian sources when it comes to Russian casualties.

Putin didn’t want all of Ukraine. Also, where does this idea that the Russian army is bad come from? The Russian army has shown they’re relentless and have destroyed the majority of the Ukrainian army that was propped up by NATO/the West and supplied with a godly amount of weapons.

Just trying to get that last push in before the winter lines set and they decide it’s time to listen to Trump and end this thing.

Yet you "buy" from Russian sources how much Ukrainian territory the Russians have captured??

Okay, makes sense...

This war has never been about people, influence, or politics. It's about geography and the protection of resources.

Well, let’s see. Ukrainian authorities are literally kidnapping men off the streets and forcing them into the army, in which many are deserting.

Not to mention, Ukraine is propped up by the corrupt West, with their corrupt mass media. Yeah, I’m not believing a thing when it comes to Ukrainian sources.

They'll blame it on Trump, even tho we have 2 different Presidents "running" the country right now.

How so?

How many years did you work in Russia and live and work among Russians? Or in Ukraine and live and work with Ukrainians?

For me, it was 4 years with Russians and 1.5 years with Ukrainians.
