I’ve always felt he would be a much better President than Vance but curious to know why anyone wouldn’t trust him.

I think having two strong candidates as options is good for the party and good for winning the 2028 election. Let them separate and define each other in the primary so we can pick the best option.
Let the Republican Party have the voters pick their candidate. (Not like the Democrat party whose party bosses pick the candidate)
