This afternoon is the first time anyone has heard of this, and all of the sudden there are multiple women accusing Moore of sexual misconduct, dating back 38 years.

Well, you’re putting words in my mouth on what I said before, because not all liberals act in the exact same way. We aren’t some monolithic block of voters that is trying to take your guns and turn you and everyone you love into a transgender black woman.
There is a difference between holding elected officials to moral standards and creating a white man’s version of sharia law, for instance. I think Christian morals have a place in guiding decisions of those who are elected, but to codify those into laws (or to show preference to one religion over another in legal arguments) is batshit crazy.
My expectation, at minimum, is that the senator who represents me hasn’t gone to second base with a 14 year old teenage girl, and I thought that was something both me and evangelicals would agree with. I’m trying to appeal to what I thought was a shared morality between both sides, Christianity or not.

At this point, I believe there will be so many write-in votes for a third candidate, the Republican vote will be split, sending Jones to the Senate. It's the only path Dems have to take that seat.
I believe the Repubs have no choice but to remove Moore, and put in a replacement. Said replacement will soundly trounce Jones.
It's the only way the Repubs keep the seat.

It’s too late for Moore to withdraw or be replaced as there will be no candidate on the ticket, per the law. They technically could leave the ticket open, I guess, but no one will do that.

Definitely not my cup of tea, but as I read it the additional 3 were 16, 17 and 18 when they met. I read the 16 and 17 yr old's parents were asked about dating and declined. All three were above the age of consent. However, the 14yr old's story is very troubling if true.

The Republicans cannot remove Moore, and replace him with anyone in the party who has already run for this position.
Alabama has something called a "sore-loser" law that prevents this. Strange, Brooks, Pittman would be ineligible.
However, anyone can begin a write-in campaign independent of the party, if I understand things correctly.
My fear is Strange would be encouraged to begin a write-in campaign, splitting the Republican vote.

Said it was not my cup of tea and hell no would I grant my daughters permission to do so. But yes, it happened back then and still happens today(not illegal by Alabama law either) Ever heard of Courtney Stoddard? They were lauded by the media had their own TV show and magazine covers, etc.

Ive had several very good looking guys in their early twenties hit on me but I politely said no. I know I still look young buts it not approprate for a man in his mid /late 40s. Roy Moore is absolute trash if this is true.
