The Rouses on Tchop didn't seem to be hurting at all since this whole incident happened. I highly doubt they were losing a lot of sales over it.

Exactly, which is why Trump was SO UNUSUAL BECAUSE HE NEVER APOLOGIZED AS IT ONLY EMBOLDENS THE LEFT WHO ARE NEVER SATISFIED WITH AN APOLOGY!! HE SHOULD HAVE TRIPLED DOWN.

I can't see this guy backing down unless he was worried about his revenue. Maybe his sales data was more accurate than your eyes? Or he's just worried there will be a drop off.

Are you independently wealthy or well off enough that losing an income stream wouldn't affect your life/burn rate, or work in an industry that can't be avoided (boycott isn't practical)?

Maybe, but if that store wasn't seeing major declines (I'm calling a major decline something that would be visible to a regular consumer, as I'm out by that store most days for work), I'm not sure which other ones would. Then you also factor in the people that started shopping more with them as a show of support. I can't imagine it moved the needle one way or the other too much honestly.

More likely than not, he was tired of being harassed over it, which is why he worked in the lie of not being there to support Trump.

now he's trying to play both sides. he would be better off sticking to a side and telling the other side to suck his penis.

he's now in no man's land and he only has his poor judgment to blame. if he dies, he dies.

I shopped there before the rally, I shopped there after the twitter pic, and I'll shop there after the interview.

Because the owner's political opinions don't mean jack squat to me.

I just find it so funny that we had threads about how so many of y'all were going to start shopping there now because he was at the protest.

This. I won’t avoid shopping there, but I won’t make any extra effort to go there, and there are closer stores.

Interesting to how this works for him in Ascension. He replaced a parish staple in LeBlancs. They are pretty loyal and pretty conservative.
