Well first of all, he was requested to attend, and you can't be arrested for saying no to a request. Second of all, it's doubtful that Rosenstein would issue an arrest warrant on himself even if he ignored a Congressional subpoena. This is why these Congressional committees are worthless. They are absolutely toothless, Congress can not independently do anything to anyone, just like when Eric Holder flat out lied to them they held him in contempt, big damn deal. It has zero effect on his life.

Likely that He cut a deal with Trump the other day...to resign and roll over after the Mids for no prosecution. That'll be the deal for a lot of em' who were caught up in the storm, with falsified information permeating the Bureaucracy. The FISA stuff is in Trump's hands...just a matter of when/if He chooses to employ it as a bludgeon, or they drop the "insurance policy" and fess up. Of course, none of them want to 'fess up'; their precious dignity/reputation would be sullied.
It will be interesting to where Meuller ultimately goes.

It's alternate reality awful. Rosenstein has not resigned. Contrary to Jordan's tweet, no meeting date was ever formally scheduled . . . according to his own committee's staff.

That should be easy enough to remedy. Just call the Capitol police, march into his office and get the memos from him or lock him up. Or both.

Trump's Base, IS aware, br...and pissed that the truth is being suppressed. Would you be more likely to get out and vote if you were frustrated...or placated and satisfied with the status quo? All Trump needs if for His Base to show up in big numbers, and the whole thing crumbles right after the election.

Zero morality and accountability within the DoJ and Congress is powerless to stop any of it. Literally, powerless.
The DoJ is supposed to be the branch of justice, trustworthiness and accountability. But when they're not, there is no other branch or group to hold them accountable.
This is a fatal flaw in our system. [RR] appointment was an astronomical mistake. Hopefully lessons have been learned. These swamp creatures don't deserve the free American air they're breathing. They deserve a blindfold and a firing squad.
