Yep, Ronna was Trumps girl

Of course he chose poorly, now MAGA hates her. Not him.

I’ll be interested to see what happens if Trump people are in high level RNC positions and then the 2024 election goes bad for Republicans (including Trump losing). Surely he won’t get to maintain control of the party if he loses again.

Uh... true

He and Susie Wiles helped whip votes for her in the background because Trump thought she would sufficiently obsequious to him, despite the fact that a much better alternative existed

So Trump had Susie Wiles whip up votes for Ronna out of fear?

Chew on this.

"I am pleased to announce that I have given my full support and endorsement to Ronna McDaniel to continue heading the Republican National Committee (RNC). With 72 MILLION votes, we received more votes than any sitting President in U.S. history - and we will win!" Trump said in a tweet.
That was 2020. Trump also endorsed her in 2017, and as recenly as 2023 over his long-term ally Harmeet Dhillon. Sorry, I don't see a lot of "nuiance" here.

Look man, no one could have predicted Mitt Romney's neice would have deep ties to the establishment. Who could have known? And she did such a great job in 2020, she deserved a ringing endorsement in 2023. Total surprise how things have gone. She has no loyalty!!

Mccarthy was Trumps dude.

Trump doesn't get credit for endorsing winning candidates that were leading, because they were going to win anyways.

OMG! Trump endorsed the leading candidate for Speaker at the 11th hour. Trump is the sole reason McCarthy won.

How dare Gaetz remove Mccarthy! Now we are just going to get someone worse.

No matter what Trump or his supporters do, a certain group will bitch and moan about it, even if that means invalidating their own prior arguments. When it comes to Trump, like progressives, these people have lost all objectivity.

Trump is the Republican candidate. If people don't want the democrats to win, then it makes no sense to continually attack Trump for the same things thousands of times over during an election. It shows their priorities, though.

Exactly. The party is responsible for ballot harvesting/voter outreach and paying for lawyers in swing states and districts.

Democrats have operations in place for both, Republicans don't.

Now she’s gone nothing will change and they won’t have anyone to blame. I don’t like Rona and she’s irrelevant asf. Bots love to give her attention (because her last name is Romney) just like with loomer. It’s some kind of got ya

Correct

Either we have an organized and well funded cheating operation to at least partly offset the one the dems will run, or we don't, and we lose.

Why did he get involved in that at all? Why doesn't he deserve blame for his involvement? Shouldn't he be responsible for his own actions?

Trump endorsed and whipped votes for McCarthy
McCarthy always sucked and continued to suck
Gaetz took him out
MAGA claimed victory

How does that timeline make sense?

Refusing to detach yourself from reality and pretend that Ronna wasn't in her position because of Trump isn't an "attack".

You don't beat Democrats by being the party that's only slightly unhinged.
