Have you lost your RonBot narrative mind? You sound like Displaced Buckeye more every day.

I guess Ron did the bobblehead thing again.

REPORTER: Governor, polls show you falling behind Trump. Any thoughts on that?

DESANTIS: I’m not a candidate, so we’ll see if and when that changes.

DeSantis spoke at the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem, Israel on Thursday, and was asked about the allegations. DeSantis completely lost it:

REPORTER: Would you like to comment on the report on NBC News that you are going to run, announce running next month?

GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS: Was that sourced to anonymous sources? I mean, yes, surprise, surprise! You know, it’d be nice to just do one article where you’re naming the people instead of just doing the gossip.

REPORTER: Would you like to comment…

GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS: I haven’t, I haven’t seen it. I mean, you know how these things go. Like I think, I think people who know me know I don’t get involved in the daily transom of this or that, you know, this this news cycle here or there.

Because the end of the day, you know, a lot of this stuff gets packed in there. I think a lot of it’s secondhand material. So there’s not been any things set. I’ve been focused on this mission that we’ve been doing.

We’re going to end up making it pretty much around the world by the time we’re done. And if there’s any announcements, you know, those will come at the appropriate time. But it’s not. If anyone’s telling you that somehow they know this or they know that, that’s just inaccurate because there’s not been any decisions made.

That’s ok, though, lots of successful presidential campaigns start off with the candidate glitching every time someone brings up said campaign before it’s even launched.

The typical Floridian is probably completely unaware of the comings and going’s of their Governor, which is a likely reason why he’s seemingly got no qualms about doing it

Or, it could simply be it's doesn't matter. Only-Trumpers are the only ones that care, and your care is inane.

what they don’t know won’t hurt them.

How are they hurt by DeSantis traveling? Is the state of Florida somehow worse for it?

quote:

But I do find it a bit disingenuous.

Because you're told to. If roles were reversed, you'd be all for Governor Trump out on the road, busting arse, drumming up business for his state.

I’m not sitting here trashing the guy

I can always count on you for at least one lol per post.

I don’t see it as noteworthy, I think it’s more a case of folks not giving that possibility much consideration as far as it being a realistic possibility. I don’t see Trump doing such a thing by a long shot. If a person’s jam is that Trump is the all-time top guy in the narcissism game, then the last thing I would see him doing on the heels of a primary loss is setting himself up for a likely impossible challenge, thus a loss on top of a loss. Doesn’t have exactly scream narcissist to me. To answer the question directly, I’d probably hold my ground and vote Trump because I don’t believe neither he nor the other guy (Republican nominee) would have a realistic, viable chance to win, so it really wouldn’t matter which one you voted for. But again, I’d give that scenario a 1% chance of happening.

I'm not an "only-Trumper" by any means, but I generally support him so that gets you branded as such by the crazies around here. I answered the question quite clearly, and I suspect it's the same answer many Trump supporters will give you. It isn't terribly complicated.

Your honesty is appreciated, and I imagine a pretty high percentage of only-Trumpers would do the same while making the argument you just did - "if I didn't do what I'm about to do we have a legit shot at voting Biden out, but I'm going to do what I'm about to do because if we skip over that I did what I'm about to do, the Republican nominee has not shot."
