The timeline of events suggested by the Nation article is contradicted by the timeline that Stone includes in his statement, which appears to be accurate.
The Nation article claims that the docs were copied by someone and not hacked, except the date they claim this occurred is actually weeks after Guccifer 2.0 began publishing the docs. It's s real crap article that doesn't withstand the slightest scrutiny.

I said it appears that Stone provided an accurate timeline -- dates appear to be accurate. See p. 27 of his statement.

I can confirm dates of known/reported events. I can't vouch for Stone's account of meeting/communicating with the "journalist" that apparently functioned as an intermediary with Assange. And Stone is a world class bullshitter so I'm not very inclined to just take him at his word without some other confirmation.
