Attention dumbass: the 13th amendment ended slavery, 14th amendment gave slaves citizenship, and 15th amendment gave them the right to vote. Congrats on your TEMU education, it’s quite impressive!!

If I’m a dumbass then you don’t even merit mention. Might want to check with the Supreme Court as to who the 14th gives citizenship to. Hint: it wasn’t just the slaves. If they wanted it to be just about slaves then they would have said it

Since the Supreme Court is the final arbiter on the constitution and these treasonous snakes are disagreeing with them….

No. Did you work on that one for a while?

Sometimes it is. The doctrine of Legislative Intent. Look it up.

That system worked for decades when we were living in a different world. Now, we're living in a world where we and other western societies are being legitimately invaded by third world anti-white, anti-American savages who are moving here--and other Western societies--to destroy us, and/or to usher in their islamic sharia law... and take over. Birth right citizenship wasn't conceptualized to allow that and "birth tourism." If you're fine with that you're a fricking moron.
How dense are you that you can’t comprehend the difference between working within the system and “being fine with everyone getting citizenship”?
The Supreme Court is the final authority on what the constitution says. The legislative branch can change the constitution. That is working within the system. Whining like a little bitch about what the Supreme Court says is not working within the system.

How do we decide intent?
Maybe by interpreting the very words left by those who wrote the legislation? Until you invent a fricking time machine, you’re shite out of luck. You have two options: continue whinging like a little bitch or fight like hell for an amendment.

Lighten up Francis.
The SCOTUS was never going to end birthright citizenship. It's a constructional issue and they are constitutional law justices.
Funny, we came within 1 vote of constitutional law justices coming to a very different conclusion.

Most here seem to want originalism on some things and others not so much.
That’s why it’s laughable when laissez- faire small govt. Ted Cruz is brought up as a USSC choice around here.

Oh yeah. Good luck with that. Half of Congress is made up of commies who hate this country and want to "erase whiteness," aka colonial American descendents, history, principles, and culture.
The 14th Amendment was not created so anyone and everyone can come here, especially the millions coming here now with malicious intent and hatred for this country, to shite out a bunch of babies to automatically be "legal U.S. citizens." If you think the 14th Amendment was conceptualized and passed for that purpose, to intentionally harm, invade and destroy the USA... YOU are a fricking retard. frick you.

"Legislative intent refers to the underlying purpose, goals, and specific meaning that lawmakers had in mind when drafting and passing a particular law. When a statute is ambiguous, vague, or doesn't directly address a modern scenario, courts use legislative intent to interpret and apply the law correctly."

Sure thing in the late 1860’s when those amendments came into being literally right after the end of the Civil War they addressed slavery in the other two amendments but the 14th was really referencing Guatemala lol see yourself out boy wonder

WRONG. Again.
Legislative intent refers to the underlying purpose, goals, and specific meaning that lawmakers had in mind when drafting and passing a particular law.
