He was born into a country that says "You are innocent until PROVEN guilty." It is still the same country even though DiFi and the libs tried to change it.
What is wrong with these people? They are so delusional that they can't even see that our country still stands on the precedent that a person is innocent until proven guilty. This has not changed.

He can die, or leave.

Either way. Nobody cares.

Not for nothing but that stupid frick was born in 1934.

If he's longing for the country he was born into he's not a very good liberal

He was born in 1936.

He was born into a country that placed Japanese-Americans into internment camps because of their race and not their nationality.

He was born into a country that marginalized black-Americans and separated them in society with Jim Crow because of their race and not their nationality.

So maybe that's why he feels out of place, those things don't happen anymore.

He sure is romanticizing this country's history to act like things are worse now.

Well....the sane amongst us felt that way for all 8 of the Obama years as the fringe was raised up as mainstream, and the mainstream was vilified with identity politics and lies. Welcome to our world Mr. Bigshot, Actor, Libtard, Crybaby.
Now, go curl up in a ball in your mansion and shut up.

I love Redford the actor, not so much the man. Most of these celebrities are just liberals with myopic views of the world, grew up in the hippie years, and never got past it. They are very very out of touch with many in America due to their isolation, elevated station in life, and conceit. They don’t realize yet that we are all sick of hearing from them and the Main Stream media. They are beginning to learn though. Lol

Thanks for the 1000th Progressive white flag of the day. Except we aren’t accepting surrenders or declaring truces . Your losses have only just begun.

I really wonder what these people expect...

Any guy or gal can make an accusation about you, with no evidence or witnesses, and your whole life can and should be ruined?

When do you think was the last time Robert Redford didn't get his way?

Uh, here's the entire statement. It wasn't partisan. This could easily be construed as a rebuke of Leftists.

quote:

“Tonight, for the first time I can remember, I feel out of place in the country I was born into and the citizenship I’ve loved my whole life. For weeks I’ve watched with sadness as our civil servants have failed us, turning toward bigotry, mean-spiritedness, and mockery as the now-normal tools of the trade.

“How can we expect the next generation to step up and serve, to be interested in public life, and to aspire to get involved when all we show them is how to spar, attack, and destroy each other?

“It’s hard to blame young people for calling us out, and pointing to our conflicts between the values we declare, and those we stand behind only when it’s convenient to partisanship. Many people are rightly calling it a damn mess.

“But I want to encourage you to dig deep for hope and civility right now—to try to make connections with people you disagree with, to be better than our politicians.

“We don’t have to share the same motivations to want the same outcomes. Let’s focus on each other, and strengthening our communities, and reflecting on what’s happening. Let’s live in justice and respect and let others fight it out now to the bitter ends.

“This is our country too. Every woman, man, and child in it, our American future.

“We’ve got work to do.”
