Congress doesn't want to work as hard as it will take to pass 30 little bills.
They have roadblocks to even bringing a bill to a vote - by design.
They packed everything into one bill to use reconciliation to avoid a filibuster and reduce the threshold to a simple majority to pass.
I would prefer 30 small bills but I'm not a congressional thief.

What is guaranteed to happen if the scum prevent this from passing is a huge tax increase in addition to a recession.
This and someone needs to explain to thorn that a tax credit to a few cronies is bullshite compared to the millions in NC who will be gutted by new taxes.

Yeah, the middle class didn't enjoy the doubling of the standard deduction either.

Those cuts actually do focus heavily on the upper brackets…

And they craftedly put it in place for that reason. Bills rarely ever pass with 60 votes, I think like 4% the last time I saw a stat......and that was probably a bill for pay raises for congress

Aww.. Trupian feelings are hurt.
Rand is 10x the Republican your orange NY Democrat is....
Trouble is you are not capable of understanding that for principled Rand to be effective it will take 30 to 40 more senators just like him. While Trump, more of a centrist deal maker can be effective right now.
Your position only makes sense if you are prepared to burn it all to the ground. Because that is more than likely what will happen if we get the 68% tax increase.

After that giant loss you took on the cabin fund, you may want to refrain from throwing stones.

No, hes effective as it is. Look at the time you dipshits devote to him on this board.
Rand isnt elected to rubberstamp shitty legislation, he's elected to hold the line.

Its a shitty "deal" for the average American.
Of course you're unfamiliar enough with the issue to think that ensconcing the 9 yr old TCJA tax rates would lead to massive inflation.

You’re the one who panicked in a TDS induced stupor and sold at a loss. Financial literacy isn’t one of your fortes.

Hilarious when the commies, cucks, ronbots and people who rape their own children are all on the same team.
Yikes.
Yikes.

So you measure effectiveness of a senator by the amount of time he occupies people on a message board.
Okay?.....Well that certainly explains alot about you.

Never underestimate the ability of Republicans to get absolutely nothing done

Opposing the addition of $4T in debt is considered a “RINO”. Lol
Do people seriously think that because it has a budget increase it means the deficit will grow?
Let’s use a parallel to our personal life. Everyone, for the most part, lives with debt in their personal life. We should all strive to be debt free. (Our household is fiscally responsible as we are completely out of debt, minus our mortgage)
How is that so? Is there only one way to get out of debt? Is the only way to “spend less”?
Perhaps other means like INCREASING CASH FLOW. Perhaps making EXTRA PAYMENTS. Perhaps creating economic growth that creates more revenue than spending over the next 10 years netting us less money added to the deficit.
What if…what if, we actually start PAYING OFF some of that debt due to massive investments done in America along with balanced tariffs, not subsidizing NATO defense at a 3-1 ratio, cutting out welfare fraud, deporting 5 million illegals helping with inflation, Lowering taxes therefore increasing loose income for middle class families, etc.
If you filter this through a growth mindset and look at all the other levers that are being pulled that will have a direct impact on the deficit, there are other ways to do this.
Plus, this bill, in it’s current state is likely not even going to pass as you see with the RINO’s sabotaging everything. Congress and the Senate are not the Executive branch. What the frick can Trump do to have a bill presented to him with less pork and spending in it when this BBB is already in jeopardy of not passing because Congress and the Senate are a collective of pieces of shite?

Yet, y'all can't refute it.
You guys tried to sell us this bullshite with the CR. "We just need to support it this time so we can address the real issues later." I guess it's a little inconvenient and embarrassing for you to remember that? Now, this dog shite BBB that does almost nothing to codify the DOGE cuts and we get, "Wait for the rescission bills". We did. They did almost nothing.
How many Lucy with the football moments are you expecting us to fall for? How many times are y'all going to tell us to settle for a half loaf?
You know how you never get meaningful change? You keep voting for dog shite, business as usual bills like this.

No, I measure it by how he resonates with his constituency. You know, the people that put him in office.
That aint you

Roger, it *is* true that you generally favor govt spending when it benefits Alaska. You were on here last night bitching about food stamp reform hurting bush communities
