Never said that. Trust but verify. Unless there’s reason not to.
If I were just trolling here, why would I dive into that thread and ask the question myself? Or as you have also verified, pointed out that others had claimed to have gone there as well. Maybe not during the actual time it was up, but some did give a specific location as to where it likely was located. They were uncommitted as to its existence or not.

Nope. You’re even having to question the sole source of this story because her statements don’t make sense. If you can’t see this, I’m sorry, but you are in fact a moron. There is no other evidence. None. Nada. Nothing.

quote:A monolatrist is a polytheist with a favorite god that they prefer to worship. Hindus are funtional monolatrists, as they typically have their favorite god that is their portal to the divine, but they believe in many gods. If you think that the biblical nation of Israel was religiously monolatristic, then you are saying that they were polytheistic in belief and monolatristic in practice. They were neither. There were many Jews that deviated from the official teaching and religion of God and became polytheistic and even monolatristic in their worship of one god over another, but as I've said, that's why they were judged by God. They rejected Him as the one, true, and living God and worshipped other gods that weren't real gods.
Nope. I was claiming, as I’ve said several times in this thread, that they were monolatrists.

Do you agree that the population that ultimately became the Israelites were originally Canaanites who formed their own splinter group of Canaanites?

I did notice that a couple acted a little squirrelly when I asked abput voodoo/Santeria. They claimed to have never heard of it, which I found dubious. DR shares an island with Haiti. They've heard of it.
Odd reactions, eh? For sure -- they know ALL about it. DR and Haiti are going to share certain rites and rituals as you inferred.
The RCC + Voodooism integration is wild. The Voodoo side definitely believes in the worship or appeasement of demon-"gods" and the power of blood sacrifices (chickens, animals, and...you know what else that pleases Moloch.)

Isn't the Old Testament littered with examples of mandated animal sacrifices to Yahweh?

Everything links back to a single tweet on X by someone called Ramona.
There are no independent sources corroborating this story.
Yesterday it was portrayed as being something recent. Now the same source is saying 20 years ago. They same source is saying that the school district released a statement yesterday.
No one else has corroborated any of this independently. All the signs of a hoax so far.

The Israelites conquered the Canaanites and lived among them. Many even intermarried with them, even against the command of God.

Still no reporting of the "actual picture" other than social media references to the SINGLE social media "actual picture."
In a world of AI, you are willfully ignorant.
Ten pages of debate on an "actual picture" of something that does not exist.
Intelligent people occasionally question the premise.
The school system literally released a statement about it. The picture is real. You can be a moron all you want, but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to join you.

All of this goes against the linguistic and archeological record.

The same way we know about anything: it was reported by reliable individuals who confirmed the information is legitimate.
