I know a woman who had an abortion. She was personally destroyed over the decision and the regret was unbearable.

I know two women who will openly discuss their abortions, both work at Pregnancy resource centers helping pregnant women in crisis situations. They guide them toward carrying the child to term and provide help finding resources to support them through that decision.

I know a woman that had one when she was 18, was disappointed in herself for getting into that situation. She was a normal, resilient person that overcame it, became an MD, got married and now has 2 children.

They do what they feel like they have to do, and try to get on with their lives
Some handle it better than others
I couldn't imagine living with that decision, especially if it was just for convenience
