Florida Republicans are piling into early-voting sites — and the newest official numbers show they have opened a commanding lead over Democrats in the in-person count. That is a major shift from the first wave of pre-Election Day ballots, which was dominated by vote-by-mail. As of the Florida Department of State’s Thursday morning update, 234,959 registered Republicans had voted early in person, compared with 210,883 registered Democrats. That is a Republican advantage of 24,076 votes.

And the red margin was still expanding as Thursday’s voting continued. Florida’s Voice reported that the fourth day of early voting was running 47.7% Republican to 32.7% Democrat at the time of its same-day update — a 15-point GOP advantage among the ballots reflected in that snapshot.

Those numbers are not a poll. They represent real people who have already cast ballots.

I know it’s Florida, but the GOP lead is so huge, it looks good for them in the rest of the country.

By Dem logic (and I use the term loosely), if you vote against Byron Donalds and instead vote for the white man, doesn’t that automatically make you a virolent racist?

Then DeSantis cleaned up all the foolishness and a purple state suddenly went bright red.

Imagine the millions of votes dems lose if a true voting act was passed.

So they start tallying ballots before Election Day?

I assumed this was exit polling data but it says otherwise

Its not a bad sign nationally, but I wouldn't buy too much into this as a big takeaway.

The Cuban demographic is just so unique in that they abhor the type of left wing politics that the Democrats are turning toward based on their lived experiences. You just wouldn't see Republicans win or even be competitive in cities like Miami without them.

They know which party the voter is registered to, not necessarily how they actually vote, the assumption is that you vote the way you’re registered, which is more precise than MSM polling for news and polling to help fund raising. It doesn’t take into account stealth republicans such as myself who are registered as independent

Several news organizations have been saying Cubans, Latinos and Puerto Ricans were turning away republicans in Florida. The turnout is shattering that prediction.

The Dems saw this, just like the rest of us, which is why they went full retard in literally every state they control.

For context, Florida voters by party registration are
41.5% (R) 30.2% (D) 24.5% (No Party) 3.8% (Minor Party)

These early voting numbers (which only account for 4% of total registered voters) show
42.5% (R) 38.2% (D) 16.8% (No Party) 2.5% (Minor Party)

That's such a small slice of the pie to make any kind of analysis, let alone an "in-person surge."

You also leave out a pretty big part of the article

quote:

When mail and in-person early ballots are combined, registered Democrats were still ahead by 54,739 at that official checkpoint: 695,668 Democratic ballots to 640,929 Republican ballots.

So Republicans are +11.5% in registered voters in the state yet behind in ballots cast? I'm sure Donalds and Moody are going to win but articles like this are a clown show

The reality is… this is what the entire country would look like if all the cheating went away.

Remember, this is the same state Ron DeSantis barely won by a half point.

And now, just a few short years later it’s a plus 20% state in favor of Republicans.

Sure thing buddy!

I think that is mostly it. But I also believe that Florida leading the way on Covid and DeSantis making so many headlines has made it a popular destination for conservative migration and perhaps put off some libs.

Total number of pre election votes cast (early voting and mail in ballots) still has Dems slightly ahead.

quote:

Total Voted by Party Registration Party Total Voted Percent Democrat 808,926 40.6 % Republican 773,322 38.9 % None/Minor 407,875 20.5 % TOTAL 1,990,123 100 %

Get a better Governor and they would.

Florida is lapping everyone because of DeSantis and a state legislature that actually seems to want to govern like conservatives.

If you don’t match action to rhetoric with your government the divide will continue to grow.

Now whether that remains the case post DeSantis remains to be seen.

Moody and Donalds have no business losing even if they aren't the best of candidates.
