Republicans should propose a "Common Sense" Gun Control Constitutional Amendent...

...just to prove how dishonest, disingenuous, and completely full of sh!t liberals are on gun control.
We all know that the libtards want full gun confiscation and are hoping that they can appoint enough intellectually bankrupt justices to do their dirty work for them. And, their whole "common sense gun control" bullshite is all about progressively getting to an all out ban.
So, the Republicans should propose a Constitutional Amendment which bans AR-15 military-style "assault rifles". However, that same Amendment would make it clear that Americans have the right to keep and bear all other types of hunting rifles, shotguns, and handguns. The language would be so cut-and-dry that no politicized/Obamacized scumbag Justice could ever rule otherwise (perhaps make it an automatic impeachable offense if they even try it). This Constitutional RIGHT would prohibit any infringement (including taxation in excess of any good or service) by Federal, state, or local authorities (sorry DC, Chicago and NYC).
Let's see how honest these scumbag Dims are about just wanting "common sense gun control".

We already have SCOTUS standards of review for when the government technically infringes on our rights, we’re fine no need to go over the deep end here

I have no expectation that it would ever pass -- Dims would NEVER allow it to go forward.
The point is to throw it back in their collective smug and holier-than-thou faces whenever they use tragedies to promote their gun propaganda.

Until the next shooter uses one of the above with the exact same effectiveness. Then you have already set the precedent of banning the weapon, essentially conceding it is the gun not the shooter.
How do you argue shotguns are not to blame after saying ARs were to blame prior?

Sorry if you misunderstood my request, that quote literally says not to ban all guns. My request was to follow through with the narrative that libtards want to ban all guns, and I was looking for a link to support that. Thank you.

Nah. That's why it would have to be a Constitutional Amendment where obscene libtard Justices are incapable of overturning it on their own.
Again, given the procedural hurdles for getting a Constitutional Amendment, there is NO WAY they could get enough Dimocrap support to pass it - there is no way they would give up their dream of having politicized Justices impose an all-out gun ban. It would simply be about not allowing these SCUMBAGS to use these tragedies to promote their bullsh!t political agenda.
