I’d rather have the DNC here

Latoya ain't gonna allow it. And even if they did reach an agreement with NOLA to host, I wouldn't trust the city anyway. Latoya would probably come up with some BS reason to cancel it at the last minute over a 2nd wave of coronavirus or claim security reasons because of protest threats.

Back door talk with JBE is happening right now. Any Dem Governor with an eye of their future (Dem Party) political aspirations...would be rolling the dice to bring out the National Guard against what will show up at Trump's party.

Will be interesting to see what our Governor chooses. Big money talks.

What makes New Orleans a great host city is the fact that of all the alternatives New Orleans has probably the easiest access to hotel rooms within walking distance to 2 large venues Superdome or the Morial Convention Center.

Texas or Florida would be the smart choices. Would show the country what the best path is.

Latoya is too stupid to see the benefits of having that convention in New Orleans. Too invested in making NOLA the laughing stock of the country.

I understand why but putting it in a Democrat city with a Democrat governor considering the city was the site of one of the bigger Covid infection clusters seems like a bad idea.

Pretty much every other city on the list would be a better plan electorally and as far as local cooperation.

Yep. The RNC and Trump will get less cooperation from the La and NOLA local leaders than they got from NC and Charolette local leaders. They should just do it in Orlando or Miami or Las Vegas.

Plus didn't they start doing the new renovations to the Dome already? I guess they could use the SKC, but that would be a let down.
